would u even tell me If I asked is w1 a blend of b80 and t5 just blended to the right ratios and maybe prewash for fines

Its not a blend just a different manufacturer.
B80 is neutral and t5 is slightly acidic so blending those wouldnt work as good. The acidity in t5 would cause the b80 to desorb. They would work better in layers if the t5 bleached and then b80 would adjust the ph so the terps dont break down with the heat during recovery

Has anyone tried re running just terps from diamond separation ? I have a lb or so of funny darker terps wondering how they will come out lol I’ll keep you posted
Thin them out in butane in a handful of jars. 1lb would be too much for just one jar, I’d think. Dissolve at about a 10:1 ratio (butane:hte) and put them in the freezer(-60/-80c) for a night or two. Have same size and amount of empty, sealed jars in the freezer. Pour off the majority and don’t let the bottom gunk pour out. Evap what you pour. Fill first jars back up and put back in the freezer and pour again. Repeat until the butane is clear and whatever dropped out stays at the bottom of the jar.
Or yes. You can dissolve it back into your CLS, send back through a slight amount of media to give it a slight scrub. If you have a lb of hte/terps I wouldn’t use more than 10% (45g), probably 5% or even less.

Could someone help me understand this process. I have a lb or so of darker shatter and use a cls 2.5lb system. Can get yellow shatter using b80 but have never re ran shatter and dont know where to start. Could it be as simple as just breaking up the old shatter and mixing it with material and rerunning it that way.
Yes, you can do it that way, or you can go ahead and just add the shatter and some butane. Make sure you wait long enough to have the shatter dissolve into solution, that’s about it. If you check out @murphymurri’s IG. She has a couple different videos specific to this type of remediation

I would just put the shatter in the Collum and add butane it took me 3 hours for 20 oz to dissolve I used 8lb of butane
