Edit* found the answer multistage dewax, would dissolving a slab in Etoh and filtering out the fats lighten up a dark slab ?

I think it would help, not sure how much it would clear it up though. i use tane. I believe that would be more for the etho guys to answer
Yust disolving a slab won t do much and passing disolved oil treu powders does not work that Well either

How much extract did you start with the clean?
I forgot, but i would bump the tane to oil ratio upto 20:1 or higher

How long are you finding it takes to dissolve a pound of product in tane? 4-6 hours?
That depends on the temp/pressure
Room temperature tane I can dissolve a kg if oil in like 10-15

when I tried this with sugar it would not dissolve i Was thinking about putting it on the griddle n whipping it but Im not too sure about that. Any recommendations for dissolving sugar?
Higher tane ratio,
Let the tane warn up in a sealed column. Also shake or stir it

Remember your used at least 5:1 with your material to get a 10 to 15% return. So fo 50g you might want 5lbs of tane

soo people are looking to turn black to gold?
Was able to clean up some crap, with what i did. Biggest part of what was done was a thorough dewax. By doing that i was able to remove most of the bad flavor, other powders helped remove oxidation, heavy metals and some other undesirables
