Cleaning crc column/screen

New to thread, new to extraction. I’m having issues with slow output through my crc column. It’s a 2 foot column and I’m running five 4 foot column’s through it. My question is is it necessary to clean/ change crc screen and how to speed up the process of crc output. I pre wet the crc and change it every two runs. Any advice would be great fully appreciated.

Sonicator baths can really help loosen things up in a clogged disk. You can also add felt pre filters like the 1 micron that carbon chem makes

What size disc are you using? Are you using papers? Have your tried a little heat on the crc?

How many other threads did you read?

Why?

You really think you’re the first one to ask?!?

So (my advice is) learn to search, and dig in BEFORE asking for help…

Eg, you might find these hits useful.

Search query was “CRC disk flow

And this one doesn’t show on the same search, but is probably also useful.

Show me your crc

Edit: or not. Just re-read it…

Get a Sonicator, buy some branson cleaning fluid. clean it after every run.

Stage your filters down starting with a five micron sintered disc (5)-(1)-(.2)

keep two sets to be able to run back to back runs.

Add a paper.
Learn of cleaning disks

Ideally you would state the micron rating on that disk…

…and you ought maybe gain an understanding of staged filtration

Ultrasound bath then backwash the discs with clean ethanol at ~5psi and start using papers
