Why not put it in a nitrogen swept air tight chamber?

I can confirm rosin that was decarbed from a 90nm cold water wash… It hit 82% TAC 5. 4% terps… Could do better for sure but the outcome in a ceramic cart is atm quite outstanding and the terps didnt degrade event hough exposed to heat (in a jar).
So the pros surely go at maybe lesser tac but higher trp%

Does nitrogen and or argon affect taste? I’ve had people claim they taste the nitrogen when it’s flower in a sealed cat food can.
I won’t be playing with displacement gasses this summer, but definitely will be testing things this fall.
Those two gases do not have a taste, it’s similar to o2 not having one.

I’m new here so Hi all ,had to comment interested in this ‘piatella’ think theres something in the zero ice in wash idea last wash i did run out of ice after first wash the second and third came out better colour & greasier looking i then fridge dried with desiccant vault aka plastic box with silicon packs lol followed by a cure in low temp % v.low humidity ended up much more terpy an consistency different to washes with ice, cut cleanly. Seems theres plenty of knowledge on this forum hope u guys can solve it

nitrogen does not have a taste… its literally used in almost all snacks packaged in bags, such as every brand of chip youve ever eaten
Ice only damages trichomes and creates more plant matter imo. ive never understood why people wash with ice in their water unless theyre going for high production/largest yields possible while sacrificing quality. at the very minimum I always recommend letting your ice half melt so that the edges are all smooth and wont damage your material… using water from a chiller and hand agitating with a paddle is my preferred method…

‘Sharp ice’ is right up there with needing a special hash pump to me.
Oh both of those did too.
I’d say its more material dependent. Not ice. Terps do the heavy lifting in this process to melt it up good. Plus if you end up running it into rosin anyway its a moot point since you’re heating it and smashing it later on down the line anyway
