I remember seeing somewhere that a surprisingly low amount of decarboxylation happens (50-70%?) during dabbing. It may have been a member on here who tested the reclaim in their dab rig, its been a long time and I cant remember who did it, but I do remember being surprised at how much THCa made it through

There is also this report, suggesting that a certain amount of THCa could be transported to the mouth piece and may recrystallize there (if it indeed THCa).

Sticky powdery residue on rig after dabbing

Hello, Recently I’ve been noticing diamonds from multiple processors leaving an odd, sticky, white powder like residue on the mouthpiece of my rig after dabbing. The residue doesn’t look like this for long however, and the white powder look dissipates leaves only sticky clear residue behind. Diamonds seem to be clean, solid high and taste and no headache/dizziness. Just very odd that I’ve noticed this from a lot of people lately and wondering if anyone knows what could be causing this.
