What is the best ecommerce platform for our industry? I’ve made the mistake of going with Shopify in the past and it was a NIGHTMARE. Also, lets talk payment processing. A lot has changed in this world over the past year and I would love to hear everyone’s experience.
I’ve seen a lot of companies square to process payments, and weebly to build a web based shopping platform.
Square seems to be the move now a days! I’ll check out Weebly, thanks!

Square shut me down for selling cbd/hemp! I applied for hemp program and was told 6 week wait time. They also said they likely wouldn’t be able to approve me selling hemp flowers!
Hopefully in the near future a new card processing / commerce platform will be developed specifically for this industry. Banking or processing payments in this business can be a total nightmare for some people.
Was this before or after the beta?I waited 2 months to be accepted in the beta program for my site
Use Wordpress (with WooCommerce) or regret not doing it later. Google how awful Weebly is before you take a step closer to that dumpster fire lol

Yeah if you go to regular banks lol all the guys who know what you’re actually supposed to do just don’t tell anyone.
We use Square and are 100% upfront about what we are selling. They have been ok with CBD for a few months now.
Polish your website, be transparent and forthcoming, have your paperwork in order, and then follow the link that I posted earlier… that will take you directly to their new CBD signup page and you will get $1k free processing if approved… usually takes 48 hours but it’s solid - we were denied from paypal, stripe, square, authorize, then finally got picked up by square again. Integrates flawless with woocommerce checkout and wordpress backend. Beautiful workflow. If you need domain, hosting, install, customization, or anything related, send me a message!! much love 
We use square. The website is a little barebones, but it has all of the functionality we need and we get our payments within 24 hours to our bank account. We were flagged as a CBD account. martinjamesco.com
Edit: square integrates with weebly, so you use their page builder. I think it costs us $12/month.
