i never thin shit with CBD or anything but terps. If the oil wont hit in the hardware im using. I find new hardware. So far the vfire has stood up to everything but a wrecking ball.
im not worred about $1 vs $2/2.50 a pod. Im not trying to fill a pod to have to empty it later. Trust me. I love to find a perfect pod for $.60 each, but it the difference is a dollar or 2. Its not a big deal in the grand scheme of it. This saves me time and oil. I never worry about a leaking cart or non fire cart. they always work to the last drop. Thats a saving of time and money in my opinion.
Depends on the quality of terps used. I stuck with one brand (not going to name names) for a while and had the color change on me over time. They were cheap and most of flavs had a throat pinch. This cart was made by a guy who used… I’m drawing a blank, they were very expensive. Main stream company, maybe true terpenes? His carts were the smoothest I’ve had with decent taste. Nothing I ever got from him turned color. Worst is the cart shown in pic and those were the same carts I used, I sold him that batch of empties.
I’ve got a couple here, clear with reddening at the tank extremities. Both batches’ tests check out. I’m of the opinion it is oxidation. You don’t even have to trust the tests. Did anyone bring up oxidation of a contaminant?
Everyone possibly wins!

Now I’m vacillating, my original thought was terpene separation–maybe caused by thermal fluctuations. Some of you may have some knowledge on the plausibility there. I’ll refrain from diving into the web trap this time.
It’s a 2 year old thread, but I can tell you I use full ceramic and with glass housing for carts and I have carts a year and half old with none of these problems. They look and taste like the day I made them. They haven’t been stored right either. Indoors and outdoors in hot summers too.
