Just know I used to be where you are at. Then I researched on future4200 and it really stepped up my game.

High temperatures will invariably result in thermal degradation of both cannabinoids and terpenes, to what level would need more testing. The batch-to-batch and inter-batch variability will also be higher since these higher temperatures create more drastic time-dependent changes in the overall profile. For example, the cartridges filled at Time-0 at 90C will be substantially different than the cartridges filled at the end of that batch.
I’m not tied to one side of the argument or the other, but I have seen drastically reduced issues when configuring our system to use lower temps. I don’t have any hard data to back it up, other than I am sure if I dug through our archive of QA inspection pictures the carts configured with higher temps will inevitably have a drip or two on the tray and more variability in post-fill levels. However, our post-fill inspection happens immediately after the fill, so I wouldn’t be able to measure settle.

It’d have to be be above 80c to for a while to see any true degradation. Youd see see minute amounts maybe at an hour.
And are annoyingly difficult to fill, at least compared to regular CCELS. You really gotta get deep with the needle and not go too fast because any bubble goes straight into the mouthpiece.
Took me an entire afternoon dialing in the “all glass” carts because the fill line and the center post leaves no room for error.
I might start running some tests at 90c at just the dispense heater then. Might keep the reservoir and lines at 50 and just crank the last 1/4 inch of tubing/ aluminum block

This is the way to do it when filling certain things. The residency time of it hitting temperature is low but it’s useful for a lot of applications.
Did you use a crimped needle and point at the side wall at an angle? Glass carts have been stupid easy for us to fill.
Basically what I do with the cart farmer. You can even keep the res @50, its only warm to slide the material down.
