Cannabis derived terpenes vs non-cannabis derived terpenes

Look like most companies stop selling terpenes, like Blue Rivers. I can’t find a seller that can have a steady supply

I have cannabis terpenes, we extract with CO2. And they are awesome,

What’s a steady supply for you?

Liters are available,

If you don’t mind saying, who are you getting your secondary packaging and filler from to comply with flammable solvent shipping regulations? I’m not trying to get fined by the feds.

Right now I have CO2 extracted
They range in color from light yellow , to dark. And honestly some of the best most pungent effervescent batches have been the dark ones.
current gorilla glue batch I think I higher amount of lipids and fats so they are cloudy and thicker but they are awesome.
Also I’d be glad to send pics of the actual batches so that you can see upfront range of consistency
Gorilla. Glue 4
Sunshine #4
Larry OG
And sherbert
40-50 ml depending on quality.

Also steam distilled hemp-cannabis/sativa terpene Water clear 15-20 per ml
Please let me know any questions , and Just let me know any info you may want. These are really good and we do very well with them.

I’m up in Canada and just wantes to weigh in from up here. First, I just want to say that isolated natural terpenes are not 100% pure isolates. So what else is in them? Sometimes traces of other terpenes, sometimes the solvents used to extract them in certain cases. I’ve seen valencene sold for distillate flavouring at 60% purity. With cannabis terpenes/flavour and smell extracts you can not only get the full range of flavour and smell elements, but you also get more of a gaurantee of the cleanliness of the product. One major difference you will note is that its near impossible to get the skunky classic cannabis smell that everyone knows and loves with isolated terp recombinations. I wouod love to see someone working with food grade thiols (its over my budget) but one day we will have carts with thiols, flavonols etc. And yes, these other conpounds have psyhoactive and synergistic effects. So I’ve been experimenting and have found some places that have co2 fruit extracts here in canada. You guys ever mess with those? I know obviously no one knows what smoking strawberries does physiologically to a human, but i found it pleasant, but with some definite harshness.

I’m not a big fan of playing with thiols. Although benzyl mercaptan is in True terpenes isolate file cabinet, perhaps they think that alone is responsible for the skunk flavor?

I’m surprised no ones messed with hops.

I’ve been looking at hops supercritical co2 extract. They make it for brewers

Hops or hemp for the skunk smell

Hops for other terpenes but hemp could possibly have skunk smells. Maybe i should get to breeding. Fedora Kush

It’s thiols. I’m surprised more terpene companies aren’t introducing them into their blends.

Maybe this is why.

Hops rosin is an option as well.

There are thiols in cannabis and anyone who has smoked true skunk knows even in that high of levels it is still safe. Which thiols are responsible for this is a great question, but not all thiols/mercaptans are the same. True terpenes is using benzyl mercaptan supposedly, and you have looked up methyl mercaptan. There are very much food grade thiols, they’re used for various flavoring applications like chicken soup broth etc. Benzyl mercaptan is found naturally in wine and coffee. They definitely need to be handled properly and it isnt something that should be used by a craft terp blender, but rather only a specialist with a proper lab. That said, it’s the reason why true terpenes is the only terpene company I’ve ever seen with actual skunky weed smell.

What strain of theirs had the skunky weed smell? Are u confusing skunk for pine? All of the TT terps I’ve smelled, smelled like pine. If I missed the skunk one, please do tell us which one u tried

To me all of TTs terps smell universally grassy and most were hard to distinguish in blind tests. They were ok till i tried cannabis derived which obviously blew them out of the water.

According to soxhlet the super sour diesel is very pungent and fuelly, according to blysk the headband is “truly skunky” and the blue cheese has been described as “like opening a fresh bag of weed”. They market a few of their strains as having a fuel/cheese smell on their website.

Cannabis derived terps, especially from the sauce component of live resin etc. are the best imo. Ain’t nothin like the real thing

Some of those bho terps that separate from crystal are awesome. But they’re so dark you can’t use them in anything
