Cannabis derived CBG to THC conversion

Can you convert CBG into THC from cannabis plants that have been harvested early and have high levels of CBG?

With the right tooling…

That thca synthase should also work in the correct cell free environment.

The question is a bit hard to understand.
Are you asking if it is possible to convert CBG in the plant material?

In any case, so far, efficient chemical conversion of extracted CBG as not been evidenced.

No methods are as efficient as harvesting your plants at the right time unfortunately. I don’t think it will be worth your while.

Apologize for being so vague.

Not in the plant material, in the finished extract from high CBG plants. I know most people try and remediate the THC out of CBG extract. I am looking to convert the CBG into THC or be able to fraction off what little THC might be present.

Without specialized chromatography equipment, fractioning off the THC is difficult.

A lot of people will just degrade the THC into CBN to get rid of it.

…but there are available synthase expression constructs (might even be commercially available enzyme?), and my recollection is that the enzymes have been test/shown to work in a cell free environment

Might be a reasonable starting point for anyone interested in the process

yeah i agree on that.

Not a viable route at least and
I would recomend isomerization s only on issolate s and not on extracts
