And even then, some cannabis crimes won’t stop you from employment. It has to be a violent crime, or a felony, to be denied employment. At least in Arizona. A cannabis conviction won’t guarantee you can’t work, but the second they turn it into a violent crime. How many of us own guns? If you have drugs and guns, it’s now a violent crime. That’s how they stop us from getting jobs, most of the time simple misdemeanor convictions won’t hinder your employment. In some states, not all.
