Dudes! Safe or not, my jaw is on the floor over here reading these people openly admit and discuss cutting their material before putting it in carts. Unethical as fuck! A blight on the industry. How is this entire forum not flaming these guys into obscurity? Reading back over this thread Iām just making a mental list of mother fuckers that are not on the level. The brazenness of openly discussing screwing over your customers. You assholes should be ashamed.
Cigarettes are bad, people still smoke themā¦ give the average joe smoker a choice between a 20$ ml and 40$ You would probably be surprised what people choose. The free market provides choices, and we all know we get what we pay for !
I agree customers can be idiots asking for death, but ultimately the industry and those on this very forum will end up paying for providing unsafe products to morons that asked for it.
Not everyone using cuts was doing it to be shady. I had clients that wanted a product that was less potent, was marketed as less potent, and was sold for less accordingly. Not everyone wants to take a hit and forget their name.
Some customers also want a thinner cart that give massive rips. Too thick and carts can be hard to hit and wonāt give good vapor which is another reason people cut their carts. Iāve made carts so thick you need two warning cycles with a battery just to get a hit. Iāve made carts so thick you canāt take more then a few hits at a time, because you need to wait for more oil to wick to the element. Some patients have weak lungs, they simply canāt apply the pressure needed to smoke thick distillate. Iām in my 30ās and some really thick oil in M6T ccell carts can be rather hard to hit at end of the cart
Cutting is about ripping people off, cutting is about altering the functionality of the oil.
M6T05ās are my main cart. Iāve been through thousands. They can handle almost shatter consistency. But you use terps to thin out extract. Not thickener. You donāt get any bigger hits from a cut cart. Thatās a bullshit excuse to rip people off.
And Iāve heard the microdosing/weaker cart argument before. Another bullshit excuse. Save it. Who wants a cut cart? When you donāt want to eat a whole cake do you just take a small piece or do you mix it with some inert cake-like substance and then eat it?

The only reason to cut a cart is when you need a lower % of THC or CBD. How would one make a 250mg or 500mg CBD cart when using a 90+% DIST. OBV your not going to put 50% terps cause that is horrible tasting and not great for your lungs eitherā¦

One could use a .25 or .5ml cart?

There is absolutely no reason to cut the carts of 2019. There are so many 2.0mm carts now that will take even the thickest distillate.

In almost every industry in the world people use a dillutant to make different % products. Vaping included. The issue i believe is tricking others buy using a cut to make people think a product is something else. Also you need to use a product that is safe for vaping and like i have stated many times before these new cuts were created because people thought VG PG PEG were bad. VG PG PEG been used for 30 years in vaporizing formulations. Not saying there safe but all these issues are recent and stem from canna products mostly. We prefer to use hemp cutt and hemp cutt ex which i believe has been discussed here and they have openly spoke about what it is made from and what is in it. People getting sick or dieing is bad for our industry and biz. You need happy customers and that is why we have long lasting partnerships. I hope all this gets sorted and wish anyone affected by this the best.

As we learn about the health effects, we stop using certain products. Cutting cbd is like a joke right? Isnāt selling snake oil enough? I really donāt understand the cbd industry. It seems like too many people that didnāt come from the black market.
So youāve had a consumer come to you and say the cart would be better if you would just dilute it down? Iām having a hard time imaging this. Or was it a retailer that wanted multiple price points but still wanted the allure of a full g cart?
Iām not looking to argue here, honest question. How do you take 90% distillate and make a 500mg cart (which yes, our customers request) that doesnāt crystalize? Obviously canāt do it in a .5ml cart. The only other option is a 1ml cart. There has to be something in there other than the 10% terps, what is it?
