Is your recovery tank chilled first? When I come in the mornings and turn on our sous vides, the water overnight is at 80f. Room temp… You’re pretty much telling me to recovery with no heat, zero heat other than ambient temp. We have a 150XL capible of doing 4LB/MIN. You won’t achieve 4LB/MIN without hot hot recovery tank. Even at 120f its only about 3LB/MIN. Keep in mind the 150XL is a 20,000 pump. Recovering at 95f it drops below 1LB/MIN.
No he’s got a nice heat exchanger.
If your Temps are low enough, and your surface area high enough you can say fuck pumps altogether.

Do you actually think I came here to help and teach people? I’m sorry, lol. I’ve got better things to devote my time to. I do love helping people when I can, but it’s not what drives me. I’m by no means preaching my way is the best way, but 120°f is pretty well known in the industry to be a ridiculous temp to dare expose the terps to, I mean butane boils at 30.2°f. 
That and plastic containers for bho, also ridiculous.

Maybe in the vacuum oven. But 120 with no vac ain’t doing much. How come almost every crumble SOP ends in the vaccum oven at temps between 120f-140f
Because crumble = batter with less terps.
Or lots of waxes, which I’m sure 15:1 ratio extracts them all.

Lol, my crumble has a stronger smell than my sugar and slabs and gets better reviews. I process sugar and crumble exactly the same in the closed loop system so that kinda defeats your point.
These folks are basically saying that the consistency your after is best achieved by not exposing the extract to high temperatures. You’ve already explicity stated that time isn’t much a factor for you so why not sacrifice SOME MORE time to add to the quality of your extract.
120f you will be robbing the concentrate of the lighter notes in profile of the extract, no doubt.

Crumble smells the best out of all the consistencies imo… its always smells the best because terpenes can easily escape from it.
