Auto-spin/vibrating bar?

You bought a great oven for what you need it for 99% of the time. The port is nice, but honestly, to really set it up well across multiple units, would cost as much as a reactor. That is really the truth about custom lab equipment. By the time you MacGuyver what you want, you could have bought it from the VWR catalog.

Check out that link specifically to motion feedthoughs. Very cool. I did project with NASA where they wanted to hover a little beaker of epoxy over a form, and after a number of purge cycles, pour it in. We started with one of these so that the engineer could turn a rod and the goo would pour out but it lost viscosity so quickly that it didn’t spread to fill the mold. Think of waffle batter and how you don’t just pour it into the middle but you kind of pour it around the iron. So we needed to move the rod in and out while pouring and maintaining vacuum. Kurt J Lesker FTW. We don’t go to them because they are cheap.

Their kit is rather nice, though I’ve never found an occasion where their offerings were the right answer to the question I was asking.

I considered their ferrofluid feedthroughs for a “stir things inside a vacuum” application, but the torque capacity we needed wasn’t available.

And I’ve also heard more than one “great until they’re not” comment about ferrofluid devices.

We designed our own mag drive instead, it turned out to be much better suited to the task than anything available off the shelf.

I used them on the weekly for TC feedthough’s, Everyone wants to know what the temp of everything is in a vacuum oven. That is the worst . . . because it is rough to maintain tight temps across multiple, dissimilar, non-uniform materials in an ever-lovin’, nature-abhorring vacuum for the love of mike.

Fine I’ll re word it to be sciency

Vibratory transducers strap it to it and let it rip.

I’d suggest a 1L reactor because I’m assuming your trying to speed up the decarb on rosin or THCA

But if not then something like this pictured below is as close as you’re going to get. It’s actually wild that I stumble across this because yesterday morning I had a wireless stir bar dream myself  (have to use a mason jar instead) (lid obviously melts)

Yup I swear

you got it lol.
We have a reactor too, it’s just too big for the batches I am trying to decarb. We use it for making fast-acting so it’s a 20L. I’m decarbing like a kilo or 2 of THCa at a time for now…

thanks bro. hope all is well with ya :metal:t2:

I’m not allowed to go on there while I’m at work

Likewise my guy!
