I said Industrial vacuum ovens.
I heard pressure is better than vacuum for marinating. Cook book called for a whip cream dispenser but I am sure other vessels would be more efficient.
Hmmmm … I think maybe you just found another use for diamond miners and shatter platters. Stop selling your old BHO riggs and start marinatin.
Hence, why I asked you to elaborate…
What is an “industrial vac oven”? because apparently Google doesn’t know either.
AI is the first website that comes up when you search for an “industrial vac oven”.
Everyone here knows we all use AI or cascade for the most part.
So, I’m not sure how mentioning some unrelated “industrial” vac oven would help me at all here.
When I think industrial - I think a lot bigger than AI or Cascade. But I don’t know what @Sidco_Cat meant…
I think of something made to do more than sit on a bench top. Something that perhaps has conveyors. Something that I can roll a pallet into.
Here’s an example of an industrial vac oven (and many other kinds as well) supplier.
Before I came to canna I had never commissioned an oven that was as small as the ones we use except for analytical testing. -shrug-
Right, I didn’t know what she meant either. That’s why I asked for some clarification.
My knowledge of vacuum ovens outside of cannabis applications is pretty dang limited.
I bet you could find something that would work on Adam & Eve.
I suspect @Lukewarm might know just the thing…
Bro, your anger is showing now.
Didn’t mean to be glib. It’s a very subjective difference. Every Cascade has an access port. AI and others are better described as laboratory vacuum ovens and most of those do not.
I should have been more descriptive. Most of customers probably never used the port but it was so often requested that we included it as standard.
Thank you! Maybe we need to not be cheap and just get us some cascade ovens in the future instead of AI.
dude lol. unfortunately this is the closest thing to what I’m looking for that I’ve been able to find
Just go with it baby, relax and you’ll be fine
I hear a relaxing and plenty of lube is imperative.
Might help if you explain what exactly needs mixing under vacuum
Another option ofcourse could be the vacuum tumbler either XxL or a small one like this
Would not be surprised one could fit a 6” spool in this instead and warm it up with a heat gun or infrared light
As for the xxl vacuum tumbler there is plenty examples I have given on the forum previously
From what I’ve seen, the food ones generally don’t pull as much vac as one may prefer, but do come with the priceless bonus of being able to say you make your drugs in a meat tumbler.
The concept is easy to implement on a DIY basis for anyone who can rub a couple of brain cells together and source a couple of key components.
Point a heat gun at while it spins is the simple method. An electrical slip ring connected to silicone heat bands and thermocouples wouldn’t be all that hard to make happen.
If you can figure out the suck, then a nitrogen sweep is just as easy to implement.
For the suck I would recomend a vacuum swivel or a high pressure quick connect if the rpm is not to fast works well
Yup. It seems like vacuum rated ones are a little harder to find - pressure is common, vac is not - but once you know where to look they’re shockingly inexpensive.
At the RPM any of these systems would see in our industry, pretty much anything that will hold proper vac will do.
I’ve never tried the quick connects myself, but it’s something that seems worth trying if one could find a vac rated one.
I believe that Lesker does sell a vac rated version. I would definitely not call them inexpensive.
