Ive noticed a lot of you struggle with winterizing in bulk. Ive filtered through hundreds of gallons in a day at various facilities. I figured I’d post this kit here to help you out if youre struggling with a filtration bottleneck. This does run on a noisy air compressor unfortunately.
You will need to also purchase compatible filter cartridges to fit the housing. I recommend staging it from 25 micron to 15 micron to 10 micron and finally 5 micron
After the 5 micron, you can set up a 1 micron if desired, but I would prefer to push into a stainless steel column with a 1 micron sintered disk
Fam, there’s this thing called saturation and evaporative cooling. Also there’s this cool filter media called w1 from @Waxplug1 where if you don’t bake the powders, the moisture will hydrate the lipids fammmmmmm
Famalam if you reduce solvent the fats crash easier and faster. Hydrolysis will help this happen. Same as degumming just use an acidic media with moisture in it like the clays
