Anyuse the hydrocarbon company for gas

Thanks Jim.

If you have any recommendations for a hydrocarbon solvent source north of the border in Canada I am all ears!

What’s the cost pre shipping of your 20lb and 100lb tanks. Couldn’t find pricing on your website.

We’d love to have your account - but shipping is an issue. FedEx hazmat delivers small shipments for us through the continental US, but don’t take ground shipments over the boarder.

We have to ship by truck, loaded onto pallets and the buyer needs to have a freight forwarder to get the shipment through customs. It only makes sense to re-sellers or large processing plants that would take pallets of 36 * 20 pounders OR pallets of 9 * 100 pounders.

We’d be a great supplier if you re-sell or go through a whole lot of product. Is that the case?

Hi Pupparoo.

We don’t put those prices on our website. Most of our business is wholesale.

Darn it, I can’t see how to email through this forum. Can you write to me at jimavolt@gmail.com or jim@qualityextractions.com?

Cheers,

Jim

Do you know if refined hydrocarbons is still even a company anymore?

Pretty sure they went under about 2 years ago. I believe they imported their hydrocarbons from China and the poor quality and tariffs too their toll.

I continue to buy some stuff out of China - odd chemicals that are not available in the US. SF4, CNCl, etc. I had friends over there purchase and test product from manufacturers over there that claimed 99.9% purity and none of them were over 99%.
Most had > 5 ppm sulfur species in them.
There are no producers of high purity hydrocarbons in China.

Cheers,

Jim

I thought they went under too until yesterday i saw tanks with there logo and there shrink wrap be bought. They were just buying bulk gas and distilling it to a higher “ purity” and charging a premium.

Be careful with this stuff. I don’t know where it was produced and there is no way that Refined Hydrocarbons could refine the stuff in house.

Can you get an analysis of the product from the guy/company selling it?

We could test it on our gas chromatogram if we could get our hands on the product…

The person buying disnt lnow about the problems with the THC gas co and was experiencing the exact same thing i was back in may, from there gas last week with the same gas. He got it from them wrapped the same way rhs use to do it and when i told him he called and asked for a coa and was told hed be emailed it. There’s something shady going on with them.

I hope you’ll be able to post that analysis on this thread if it becomes available. Else maybe you could arrange for a scan & email to me at jim@qualityextractions.com OR jimavolt@gmail.com.

Ill ask him if he ever got one, im gonna guess no but just thought it was odd being sold in a rhs tank with rhs shrink wrap on the valve being sold by a different company even though there answering the phone as rhs its being sold by thc gas.

Sounds like a mysterious supply chain…

Thats one word for it, waiting to hear if he got a coa for it.

Have you gotten the test reults back yet its been 2 weeks?

No response here from this company yet, huh?

They’re probably trying to sweep this issue under the rug.

Sounds like the guy posting was just a sales guy.

I will of course be boycotting Cortland Energy and THC gas. (LOL we could use a few less companies with the THC acronym anyway)

If a mod happens to see this, can you fix the typo in the thread title so it says “hydrocarbon” so people don’t get confused if they search for this later on?

I consider this a fairly serious issue.

I got bad gas from Ecogreen back in the day and I don’t wish that problem on anyone.

Ya ive been meaning to do that, i saw them sell rhs tanks last week to a guy who has been having the exact same problems from a tank he got the previous week. So they havent fixed whatever hiccup they claim and obviously arent coming back with the coa as promised. My friend asked for a coa (i saw him 5 mins after buying it) and was told he would be emailed it and as of 3 days ago still hasnt gotten one.

Did you distill your EcoGreen gas before use?

Do you truly believe you are the only one on this thread that distills gas prior to use? Even when I buy good gas I distill it, as does anyone else who is worth mentioning or gives a damn about their work.

I’ll give you the old Texan line:

Then stop suggesting it as a remedy for buying bad gas.

Also you don’t come off as an angel yourself after going through your comment history. :japanese_goblin:

Also you’re* as you are an asshole. I don’t currently own any “an”
