Anyone Tried using USA Labs 6kW Heater Circulator?

Hello all,
I am trying to purchase a Heater Circulator for decarboxylation.
I have a 50L glass reactor that I’m trying to make operational

USA Labs 30L 200°C 6KW Closed Loop Heater is what I am looking at right now.

I am looking at this model because every other heater circulator that matches that power costs me like over 20k.

I would like to hear any opinions or experience running this model.

If there is any other model that would have similar heating power at a reasonable price, please tell me about it.

Thank you good sirs

I can order u that exact heater for $1500 less if u can wait 6 weeks :joy:

Not the best heater, it’s literally under $10k for 6kw of heat for lab use.

Most reputable lab heaters cost 8k-18k for that many KW, minimum.

are interested in that unit specifically for its heating range to 200C? Or are you just heating water? Tankless water heater/pump/plumbing is way cheaper than $10k, and you can get up to 48kw if you got the amperage.

Check out Lauda XT. Perhaps out of your price range but another premium option if you haven’t checked them out yet.

Hot is easy, cold is hard.

There’s dozens of options for self assembled hot baths. You could make something for like $500 if you’re feeling crafty.

P&ID is a different critter: P&IDs for Sale

No more “&” zen?!?

You can build one with a tri-clamp heating element, SSR, PID controller, Pump for hydronic floor heaters, Pressure relief valve, over temp shut off and wire the SSR in series to the pump relay for pump-loss safety shut off.

Everyone could spare the headache and buy an instant hot water heater

Hes trying to decarb though, and most on demand hot water heaters max out at 140f, i think a higher temp set point is desired for efficient decarbing.

I have had one of their heater/chillers that looks exactly like that for over 6 years now, never had an issue.
