A guide to making your own membrane skid for not very much money

Silicon carbide would be particularly attractive material for making a catalytic membrane. All you would need to do is take silicone or some other silicon based polymer and mix in your nanoparticles of catalyst and some graphite.

Then stick it in an furnace and crank it up to 1200°c. The silicone will pyrolize and form silicone carbide impregnated with catalys.

Figure a way to tailor the porosity.

I’m just curious

You had all those smart ppl there and you didn’t think a 100-150 psi jump from the pump wouldn’t cause a problem with fouling?

Man that’s surprising, especially when Photon said he minored in nano filtration

Nah, kid has been given some rope….

How many glg members does it take to build a paper weight?

5 I guess :rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:

You should never speak about nanofiltration again after agreeing with me that pneumatics are bad after letting your buddy sell a pneumatic skid

The question that’ll never be answered

Ignoring things doesn’t change the facts buddy

Yep.

I’ve always insisted to pneumatic pumps were the best option…

It’s funny how you act like the innovations are your own. When it reality it’s your business partner who is the brains of your operation.

Your ego is perplexing.

Bro that was 8 days ago, you were telling ppl in this same thread to try it while I was telling everyone to avoid them like the plague

Hmmm why were you doing that? To protect your buddys pneumatic skids?

Probably, before 8 days ago you were all about pneumatics

Different league pham

Lol who are you?

Oh someone who doesn’t know what there talking about!

Who do you think did the R and D?

Wasn’t my buddy he didn’t even know how to extract before I taught him.

The skid design is half and half, the configuration and design we both came up with.

I sized the pumps, membranes, and frame so idk how you can say it’s my buddys design when he does what I ask.

Just a fly on the wall

Still doesn’t if YOU taught him

Except I haven’t ignored anything but keep trying :slightly_smiling_face:

Nah, arguing with someone out of my league is against my religion.

Lol im out of youre league don’t try to even understand, figure out why you need a pressure dampenser on a pneumatic then talk to me
