So I got an E-mail from Ecogreen gas this weekend detailing their pricing on EToH and I’ve never see anywhere cheaper. They actually quoted us under the listed price. Thought I’d pass the info along. Full disclosure, I’m not affiliated with them in anyway.

"A quick note on our Ethanol: we have just obtained our distillers license and are able to charge $5.40 per gallon excise tax on ethanol instead of the standard $26.90.

Pricing on our USP/Food Grade Ethanol is as follows: a 55 gallon drum of 200 Proof USP/Food Grade Ethanol is $500 + tax @$5.40 / gallon = $797 per drum + shipping. Our denatured ethanol is also $500 per drum and is not taxed."Consultant 2019 Pricing Official (1) (4) (1) (1).pdf (298.1 KB)

After rereading this, after you add the excise tax its pretty.much the same price as elsewhere.

$797 per 55 gallon is a little over a third what I’ve been paying for 190 proof food grade EToH. Previously I was paying 1,400 in excise tax alone.

Even at just under 1K its waaaaaaay better…
