What I never feared now scares me and I don’t know how too go back in there and continue in confidence. Im so scared at this current moment and I have no choice but to continue because of debt.
Of course, Cassin’s post is poignant and better than anything I could articulate. I’m just pointing out why OP might be putting pressure on themselves to push through their own fear here and now.
Yo this is so true Cassin, I tell my extractors everyday if you are not in a good headspace im not here to punish you for not running that day. Id rather have people be safe then one day of BHO. If your mind is not present 100% while your doing extractions things can get hairy so quickly when your not present.
I knew a guy back in michigans grey market days where he broke up with his girl, and went to the lab same night. Arguing with his girl while he pressure tests the system and without thinking unbolted a lid and got hit with 100 PSI lid straight to the dome…put him in a coma for like a month.
If you are super nervous, you can get super long grounding wristlets, and just ground yourself while you are working.
Fires are EXTREMELY dangerous, however, if your room is setup properly with fans and detectors, it generally should not be catastrophic.
Your air and body are just like water, they won’t conduct a charge well unless they are dirty. Clean clean clean. Everything. Remove all dust particles and paint your floor.
@Cassin no video. Parchment boat and the spout is a 1/4jic (which is now grounded)
Day 3 i had full flow and when the liquid finished exiting r2d2 and the vapour switch happened it lit up.
Day 2 i had a normal flow aswell.
Ive been wearing the same thing to work for 4 years lol. I got 3 pairs of that outfit.
Im gonna hard pipe the duct pretty soon and install 2. I got another exhuast fan coming. Where the duct is placed rn in the photo wasnt there before the fire. Im changing the whole system. I have my ticket in hanging ducts lol. Was a hvac guy before all this. Im gonna have it sweep the room again like before the fire. My mind just wanted to suck up the fumes close to the spout after this happened.
My shoes are hoka. I where dad shoes. 2 inches of rubber under my feet lol. Usually hoka sandles lol.
There is a green wire jumping from each skid at the bottom screwed in to a anchor.
Thanks for your interest.
I took 12 days off and spent it with the family. The first few were actually me installing a humidifier and moving some things around. Felt like a day off. Any time im not extracting is a break for me rn. Its alot of energy doing it all alone. Grinding bio, packing socks, extracting, wrapping it up and doing re runs. Its alot Specially when your doing 20hr shifts. Not having a scheudle drains you. I work all hours of the clock rn. Shit i even stopped hitting the gym every morning recently. But since the fire ive decided 14 hour days max rn. Not gonna keep going over board. Slow and steady lol. Im shook
Sooo i noticed something today. 1 of my fingers is really sensitive to electricity. I think i have a damaged nerve. When i touch the remediation column it hurts. When i lick it also you can feel the electricity. Funny thing is it stops happening. Then seconds later it comes back. I am using a 3 phase converter to light the chiller. I told a friend who understands electrical fairly well and he said im technically making “dirty 3 phase” and its shocking me in intervals . Is this actually a thing?
Sometimes, its been awhile tho, it comes and goes… When i turn the 3phase conveter on It makes grinding sounds like concrete rubbing. Sometimes it keeps happening even an hour after being on. You can feel it across the building. Its not super loud. You can feel it though. My electrician homie came back, oiled it for me. Ofcourse it didnt preform infront of him so i couldnt proove what the sound was exactly. I dont know if this helps at all.
I had to boogie out after i noticed. I only really could feel it out for 5 minutes. Tmrw im going to go back there and try pin pointing where the electricity is actually coming from. My homies gonna give me his meter also so i can poke around.
Oh yah after i shut everything off i detect zero electricity. I know im not crazy.
Again everything is bonded and grounded
Im starting to wonder. If i need to install a new ground closer to the system
Do you have a multimeter? Is your remediation column jacketed? You very well could have a short in the circulator.
You hear stories of all kinds of people doing dumb shit like ground out to plumbing etc. if there is a short in the circulator you could be in serious danger.
I would investigate from the remediation column and all “connected” periferials. Get a multi meter, check everything for fucking continuity.
Im getting a multi meter today. Hoping it is good enough to detect. I heard somewhere there finicky and the $1000 one are what im suposed to use.
Yes my remediation column is jacketed/chilled.
I already suspect the parts of my sysyem that are “charged” is all the chilled parts. Because my heated r2d2 didnt give me any of that sensation but i didnt really wanna say yet because i didnt spend time feeling it out. I had to goo.
Again i am wondering if my 3phase converter/chiller is causing this. Everythings bonded/grounded
