There is a 20 year old paper showing that your ingredient is dangerous when inhaled and you turned its unveiling into a marketing contest.

Who is in charge of your research and development? Can you please fire them?

Also I am looking for work, so maybe I can take their job. Not kidding- hire me already. For fucks sake people- quality help is in short supply in this industry… hire me.

I’m screenshoting this all-

Hey Rowan,
We honestly thank you for pointing out this paper to us. This is the first time this information came to our knowledge. We would never knowingly provide a product that could potentially hurt our customers.

Based on your post we’ve removed all of our optimizer products from the market. Until further research can be done.

We have recieved no adverse effects complaints from any of our customers and will offer a refund to anyone who has made an optimizer purchase.

We tried to be open and honest about our ingredients and in the long run it will hopefully help all of us provide safer products to our customers in this very new field of cannabis research.

We sincerely thank you for bringing this information to light and we base all our products on applicable laws ,regulations and information to the best of our knowledge.

If you have any questions please dont hesitate to contact us and we’ll be sure to get you all the information we have.

I’m sure I won’t gain any fans with this, I can’t find a full text of the article Rowan cites. Its from computer assisted tomography, so it is more about the visualization than the causes. What it looks like, judging by other articles of a similar vein, it has to do with aspirated squalene either from use of makeup or other squalene containing products. From what I have seen recently reading these exogenous lipoid pneumonia articles is that almost any inhaled oil can cause it, and around 3% of older people suffer from it at death, and that for many people it is a largely symptomless disease.

There is no doubt in my mind that were you able to aspirate refined THC oil, the viscous high boiling oil that it is, a result could be exogenous lipoid pneumonia. Although I’m not in a hurry to inhale squalene because it doesn’t have any of the fringe benefits of inhaling THC, all we have is anecdotal epidemiological data to base any disease model off of. That’s in all probability more flimsy than the basic understanding of the underlying causes of exogenous lipoid pneumonia and physical/chemical properties of THC…

I just tried to delete or edit one of my posts from july 28th. There is no option to do so. Great, now these shister companies cant back-track and delete all the incriminating evidence.

Yes, you can delete it from the thread but the forum gods keep it backed up. Sorry that I didn’t make myself clear.

This makes you guys identical to the other diluent sellers or other terpene distributors. @FloraplexTerpenes didn’t knowingly sell a product that caused harm either, and they pulled it as soon as it came to light that it might indeed cause harm when vaped. How are these other diluent sellers different then you guys?

These companies are going yo find out what happens when you use the general population as guinea pigs. This is why they are deleting their statements on these forums.

Ah shit…this isn’t the non-paid clinical trials! Probably government funding some of these companies. Better yet…foreign governments saying let’s just kill all them hippy stoners.

Organic…hahaha. I’ll show you organic. Will put organic mineral oil for you to vape. And if that don’t teach you a lesson. We will put something good in there for you. We know you like your vitamins. How about some vitamin e acetate. What? That ain’t bad enough. Ok. We need to up our game to battery acid and cyanide? Anyone
Want a free sample. Free with any terpene purchase.

Everyone loves free samples :man_shrugging:t3::thinking:

We tried to be open about our ingredients. All of our products are present in cannabis naturally.

We did our best to make a safe product. All we can do is remedy any concern as soon as its brought to light. Within 12 hours of the article being posted we removed all products from our site.

We’re all together here in a new field and all we can do is the best we can with the current knowledge. Our products are food grade and GRAS which meets all requirements for consumption.

Consumption is vastly different than inhalation

So you concentrated a compound, assumed it could be vaped and smoked, then proceeded to market it as safe? All the while having no clue if it was or wasn’t really?

I’m not trying to back the terpene companies by any means with this but…

Isn’t that what all of us in the cannabis industry are doing? Except maybe flower only brands…

Took the words right out of my mouth.

We dont say that our compounds are approved for vaping, just as any other terpene company. We sell terpenes that are present in cannabis, it’s up to you to choose how to use them.

The end user is responsible for testing their final product. As well as making sure they are selling a safe product as you choose to market and sell it.
