Because it’s not someone else’s responsibility to do so. If I was you and that was said to me, I’d read what there is to know about pentane that I may not be aware of. No need to get angry that he doesn’t do that for you because it’s not his responsibility.

I don’t need anyone to tell me my intelligence level and what I should or shouldn’t do with out explaining why. But if your saying that’s why it’s more dangerous because people get laxes with it then thankyou. My original comment wasn’t meant go be a Jab at u in the first place … and I’m aware pentane gas is toxic and the liquid is hazardous to skin/ eyes . But if there’s more idont know I’d love to learn
It’s also heavier then air and will pool in low spots and build up and causes explosions. Please do your own research and don’t just trust a forum of people with your safety

I think maybe just kind of like researching solvents in general… I had personally planned on “cold” sohxlet extraction using pentane on cannabis.
