Keeping it simple totally makes sense, and I get it.
My only reason to imagine moving away from “keeping it simple” and using a purified and mostly uniform lipid carrier like MCT is that it seems that the theory of NLCs and the quality that defines them (e.g. amorphous crystal structure) is created explicitly by not keeping it simple.
The theory seems to my understanding to call for a mixture of lipids that vary in chain length, and includes monoglycerides, diglycerides, waxes, etc.
The source that munkdooligan linked recommends this type of lipid mixture is what is required to make an NLC with the amorphous crystal structure and the concordant benefits.
But, maybe this is one of those times where my imaginings are just wrong, or my practical inexperience is preventing me from seeing something obviously wrong with what I am imagining.

My apologies, i read your previous response completely opposite of what you intended.

Oh i see, the complexity of fats and waxes is in theory able to load more “active ingredients” as opposed to a single item? I wonder, if this is the case, it must also help with decreasing the critical michelle concentration.
I’ve read that a combination of mct and lct is great for both loading capacity as well as bioavailability. In a way, kind of playing off of the synergy rather than the purity. Also, completely off topic and stretching the relevance

I think I did a thing?
Stock solution 100ml @ ~3ph, 5% surfactant/oil solution, theoretically 17.5mg/ml. I can see the blue hue around the edges (somewhat hard to capture on the phone) but the unfiltered solution is not optically transparent. Not sure it should be?
2ml of stock solution in a 30ml vial. Easily read the barcode underneath.
2ml of stock solution in 30ml of water (~7% solution), easily transparent.
Not having a better way to verify the emulsions, i took some unfiltered samples under the microscope. There wasn’t too much too interesting to see, its clear the method I used produced a series of micro and nano emulsions. I don’t at the moment have a good setup for filtering properly and am relying on syringe filters
I hope in the future to be able to better determine the nano emulsion. For now, my goal is to limit smoking. To that end, I dumped that 30ml vial with 2ml solution into my coffee and chugged it down. That was about 10 minutes ago. For whatever it my be worth, I presently feel a creeping sensation coming on.

Did you make this following the methods in the Ghanbarzadeh chapter that Munkdooligan linked back up in the top of the thread? Is this, as far as you know, a solid lipid nanoparticle containing cannabinoids or a nanostructured lipid carrier contaning cannabinoids?
hello I am interested in cbd or delta 8 soluble in water can you send me the price per liter Thank you
I’ve always considered them more appropriate for use in some other product type, ie topicals, skin care products or soapmaking, than anything else. i put some generated from a butane run into a homemade hair pomade a year ago (along with beeswax, jojoba oil, etc). it worked…ok

Strenphan75: We sent you a DM for your pricing.
Hey, i’m interested in buying Crystal Clear CBD nano kilos.
Do you have COA?
