Whos making a GOOD thc-a rich distillate. Obviously thca vapes are all the rage in the legal market lately. Ive done a few blends in house that have had varrying success but would prefer something I can terp and fill.
No such thing.
Thca decarbs below distillation temp.
There are certainly folks calling their products “thca distillate”, but they are not actually distilling thca.
Eg:
Your definition of “legal” market is also flawed imo.
Yeah i think my wording is off on this. I’m aware THC-A would just decarb at distillate temps but it seems people are combing isolates with cbd or other alt noids to create a “distillate” of sorts.
But I think in asking I’ve probably answered my own question
Also in NC THC-A with under .3% D9 is legal. Is it a stupid loophole? Yep.
Calling it “thca distillate” is simply dishonest marketing.
Sure, there’s both distillate & thca in there. Probably.
Law makers and consumers are both ill informed.
totally support using piss poor laws to your advantage while you can, but lying to your customers in the name of marketing is simply bad form.
Again, purely opinion…your mileage may vary
I wasnt using that to lie to customera but moreso to explain what im asking for.
You mean we cant call everything liquid diamonds and live resin?
No, you certainly shouldn’t.
“live resin” is probably one of the most abused appellations in the business…
“Compliant cart ready THCa formulation” would be my choice if I was shopping for such things.
Hey there so i don’t think this question is stupid as im in the same exact boat, What have you found so far on this area of topic and do you have any more info to share?
I know a guy selling affordable CBC distillate that can then be formulated with THCA and other cannabinoids to yield “THCA distillate.”
Synthetic?
I’ve yet to hear about any fields full of CBC-rich plants or affordable/inexpensive CBC distillate. That is to say, what I’m making its produced via synthesis.
Me neither…
Not knocking your work, just making sure everyone following along at home is also up to speed on the subject.
“Distillate” might give some the wrong impression…
I know a legal company that makes a good vape-ready thca distillate. Lmk if you want my rep’s info.
“vape-ready THCA distillate”
? What’s the issue?
distilling THCa makes it delta 9
Ok thanks. From what I know it’s a thca isolate added to a cbd-type distillate. OP can get the details from the vendor, they just happen to be marketing a similar product to what he’s looking for. “Distillate with thca” might be more accurate.
I just see alot more dismissive comments than productive ones.
there’s people like dr. ganja just selling regular distillate as “THCa disty” with fake labs, and then there are the blends, the language is a little weird
Yeah that’s bizarre. I think that’s a big part of the problem right now; too many illegal vendors operating outside of legal compliance. I had a sample potency report come back Today at 0.45%, so bad players are not fun.
I re-read the forum and the company im referring to is the same one that @cyclopath posted. So I can see how it’s deceptive marketing, but they’re pretty upfront about their products and can probably inform OP.
They also have a multi-source “thca rosin”, but theyre upfront about it, it tested appropriately, and it tastes good with the $60 enail I bought online like a college freshman, lol.
Come on guys everyone knows the time if not hit me
Sucks because if the Chroma sector aka magic gel cartridges brokering would make it a bit easier to afford, we could separate CBC and we could be using plant-derived CBC. It’s excellent for hitting pain receptors (TRPV1). All the CBD flower seems to have around the same % D9 as Total CBC (I’ve not been able to do any research on CBCa, but usually it’s about half decarbed). Not like you can stack a bunch of fractions and have kilos in no time, but it would be useful to have some separated for in-house formulation. But then again, there I go talking about using hemp for a non-thca product
