WTB stainless lab frame 4-6' tall reactor frame near northern Colorado

Looking for a suitable frame I can modify to hold a pair of 6” chromatography columns, stainless would be best but will consider aluminum if its sturdy enough. Want to make it rollable so if it already has casters on it even better. Don’t need any existing equipment on it but willing to buy and clean up/piece out something if price is right. Closer to Denver-Boulder-Foco area the better.

Pretty sure a descent sized crystallization reactor frame would work if you have one that the glass got broken on or pieces got stolen off. PFA. I’m sure someone has a piece of broken equipment that would fit this need for me and wants to sell it, send me a DM.

We can always build you one man, no problem.

Shoot me a text if you still have my number.

Was hoping to find a built frame to modify rather than building or paying someone to build something from scratch. Have a lead on a crystallization frame in Denver hoping it works out.

Edit: Got one for a hundred bucks, worked great.

I might be able to get you just a frame like the one in your picture already prebuilt.

8020 aluminum extrusion. You can build anything you want pretty easily with that. And if you need to modify it later, that is easy as well. Unlike a welded structure you aren’t stuck.

@SWELL The reactor frames are usually pipe or solid stainless round with set screws at the joints so they can be shipped flat pack. Picked up a used frame for a hundo, added some 6” stainless/silicone pipe hangars for the columns for another $65 from eBay, once you get that much 8020, casters and your time to make it what you want (plus some column hangars too) you’ve overshot what I’ve got in it by 4x and it is both harder to wipe down/clean up properly and the slots in 8020 attract dust and spills like nobodys business

My apologies, I just saw this…

We do custom work like this all the time. We are up in Fort Collins next to Odell’s.

Modifying existing equipment is pretty easy. We once put our ProJak on an Ironfist. Adding wheels is very simple. Mcmaster carr for the casters and a little weld plate addition to the frame.

Feel free to holler if you need anything done in the future.
