Never purchased a centrifuge before and really don’t wanna buy the wrong one. I’ve only worked with one before (LD-3) but I think that might small for us… Our batch size is usually around 1500-2000g before being spun. Sometimes a little less, sometimes a little more.
I’d like to be able to spin the entire batch in one shift.
I’ve read through about every centrifuge thread on here and I’ve seen the LD-3 mentioned a lot, but I think that one may be a little small, since it’s capacity is only 300mL… I haven’t really seen any others mentioned (other than the Ace 40 which is way too big).
Based on what I’ve read, I think the swing-out rotor style would be the better option in terms of capacity, but as I mentioned, I haven’t ever purchased one of these, so I could be wrong.
Anyone looking to get rid of a fuge that might work for this application???
Any recommendations/suggestions on a certain model are welcome as well.
