After @bg305 sent me the details on the cura and curaleaf acquistion the other day, i realized a lot of these companies are just shells.

They trade a billion dollars in stock to acquire making their company essentially bigger but the main company is on the rocks too. so whats a billion dollars of useless stock actually worth.

This is a big shell game that are gonna have people lose real fortunes. good luck

Exactly what has happened. The legal market has been too slow to keep up with consumer demand, and the black (grey) market is kicking its ass. It’s only a matter of time before law enforcement drills into the black market, but for the time being the licensed producers are distant second-place players in the Canadian market.
