Now there is a better method with mechanical filtration through NF membrane but you have to reach out to evonik to have them custom make you housing so DCM doesn’t eat it but you can explain what you are doing and they will solve.

I do not know you and up until a short while ago when this was presented to me I thought you were one of the most respected people on this forum. But the source of the conversation reputation is so enormously strong that I am presented with the unfortunate choice of having to discard you as a reliable source. Ive literally worked with david before he wasnt exactly the safest person to work with… i mean he went back into the lab before the exposion to try to save his buddy which is a huge no no and one of the first things taught in a lab safety course… he be alive today if he didnt do that…
Ive literally came in in the morning to a lab we were both working at and found a bromide reaction he was running spewing purple bromide on the walls while he was asleep on the couch… i literally ran in and shut it off because the lab was below the main offices of the lab and had vents leading above… i got sick from doing that. Turns out he was refluxing bromide in a solvent with thc to try and make cbn but didnt realize hydrogen bromide is a gas at a very low temp and he was doing this in a sealed vessel and it shot the stopper out which shot bromide everywhere…
I have first hand experience with David he was a very smart chemist but didnt really make the best choice sometimes. The shit that happened there couldnt have been prevented other than turning off the hydrogen tank. Fire extinguishers and shit like that wouldn’t have prevented that explosion and neither would a c1d1 area because theyre not meant to detect hydrogen gas
