Why do I drool over concentrates?

Hi everyone!

So I had this shower-thought the other day.

Sometimes when I smell some really good concentrates, I feel a sort of tingling sensation all the way in the back of my nose, and I start drooling like a pig.

I (we) get this same effect with food. So am I drooling because I really like the smell of the concentrate?

Or is it because some strains have a specific profile that tickles my nose in the right places and makes me wet?

I get a half chub when I smell cannabis with a lot of thoils in it, does that count?

(skunks occasionally confuse me)

It might be a psychological thing, hubba bubba max watermelon gum does that to me with it’s pleasant smell.

If i hit a stupid terpy dab i may drool but its random and not every strain

You might want to see if someone is doing a social experiment on you. Look into pavlov’s dog

Hahaha I my brain does the same, but I’m talking when you really get your nose in there. Do you never feel the terps just hit a back spot in your nose?

Then you feel this reaction that goes down from that back nose to your mouth, then boom wet.

I get the dab sweats and will drool / salivate after smoking but not from just smelling it.

Food is legit the only thing that’s given me a similar characteristic. The smell of good food you know is about to be consumed definitely has that effect. Cannabis? Lol maybe it’s activating your hunger receptors extraordinarily.
