The title says it all. The board members might have a solid IP address I can work with. I am not letting this go. I made a mistake - I own that. But THE AMOUNT of scammers online is disgusting. This is either one of 2 things. An actor who is just a worker at a data / phishing mining company and uses trends as opportunities to extract money from earner of those dollars. Second, this is a small operation as I think this might have been the same kid that sucked so bad at what he did I told him how to be betterer… .And my punishment - loss of 4500.
I have been stolen before earlier this year and now… Any information leading to the data of who this guy girl is, will be rewarding half the money to you. It’s not much but the theft has to stop and emailing this kids work and getting him fired is a start.
They might be good enough to be work at a data pishing center, but you never know. It looks liek half the btc went into the wallet bc1qm34lsc65zpw79lxes69zkqmk6ee3ewf0j77s3h (1.2B)… The rest is sitting in an account. Either way. Low level or not he’s been give a final warning by a friend i helped our legally. I conclude this based on where they money went and the 660 left over stigging by itself.
This was the phili guy selling mgm15 and sr who people called outu as a scammer after I had already lost my money. I have learned my lesson. I just contacted a hacker to get options but any info before going further down this road is helpful..
If you have a Picture, phone # , records… something that can lead to finding the person. - HALF THE MONEY IS YOURS.
Unless the hacker is capable of a wrench attack it might be pretty hard to recover.
Now let’s walk through what would be required of a hacker to recover BTC shall we?
Target identification ->Breached information population → deeper recon within the target’s account (2fa identification, authenticator info, etc) → potential simmy mc swap swap (new sim into a burner using existing account credentials to capture 2fa code) → crypto transfer to a held wallet
He’s holding a good chunk of change so likely several people if not a large team. Depending on how hard you go with the OSINT you could gleam some usable information just from that but the research and finding the links to juicy info therein costs some cheddar. Sometimes doable though depending on how tight they are with OPSEC, recovery or even capture is unlikely if they are operating in a spot like Myanmar and the like (I mean unless you have a small guerilla force that likes that kinda thing) because you don’t operate with impunity long enough to stack btc that high in that wallet unless you have some sort of outward defenses.
Because of that I stand by my original statement. Probably not one person, probably a team. Probably (POTENTIALLY) state sponsored because usually when you start racking up high scores like that governments get involved in looking unless they’re the ones doing it.
@ky_cbd We’s gonna need some blocking on some accounts probably
@Rivermark any other information you can drop here?
I worked with a scam discovery service in the past, they mostly just fish out and dig information to post on YouTube. They did charge a fee for the effort, but they also give you a percentage of the royalties the video generates, was able to reclaim most of the lost funds back by now in royalties, and estimate that I will be well over what was lost in the future.
Most recovery methods never work, even if you found out all the scammers information, the chances of recovering the funds is close to zero.
But, if the story is large enough and gets many views on YouTube, you can at least momentise the story, to reach out to others and recover the funds lost.
My story wasn’t even huge in the sense, just some scum praying on people, but it was sufficient enough to get me enough royalties to recover the funds.
The bitcoin wallets you linked looks large enough to be a decent story, you should reach out to these guys. I forgot who they were, but they have a huge YouTube following and get many views.
The guy is not a solo actor. He works with / for a group that do this for a living. If you have seen the movie Bee Keeper, it should give some sort of crap idea of the organization. He / she deposited most of the btc into a wallet that has $1.2B+ Constantly coming and going. Here’s the wallet address: bc1qm34lsc65zpw79lxes69zkqmk6ee3ewf0j77s3h
Sub.Creature has an idea of what’s going on. Out of the money he took he’s holding just under 700 in a random BTC wallet.
It would be hard to find him because these folks use tech to hide well. However, if for some reason there are any breadcrumbs then we should use them. I need any info I can get to give to a hired hacker to find this guy and leverage him.
That might be worth it here. This is a big operation. These guys have a Billion dollar wallet with transactions coming and going every fucking block! It would be something people would be interested in.
Using Binance to churn and burn the trail. The dumbest part this guy did was to make a receipt of the fraud taking place… I can probably use that to get some info out of Binance
