Are able to expand on why youād consider these gummies nano?
Iāve heard similar claims about pectin speeding up onset. We use a homogenizer to ensure even dosing, though to me, it doesnāt seem like enough shear to get particle size small enough. Iāve never done particle size testing so Iām not sure if the methyl ester groups help facilitate the emulsion process.
I use a carrier and homogenize the cannabinoids into it which breaks the particle size down and makes it nano. You can tell by the onset time my gummies hit in about 20 minutes vs the usual long onset set time with eatables. Ive done side by side comparisons and my test subjects could definitely tell the difference. 32k rpms is definitely enough shear force to break the particle size down. Obviously a high pressure homogenizer would do better but its still enough to have an effect on onset time

The main reason we started doing this was to hit our metrc potency window because we couldnāt do it without implementing this technique, the decrease in onset time was just a bonus. I do think lecithin can help with onset time too but id rather not put something like that in our product seeing as that the best lecithin comes from soy from my understanding
