Who all is using food grade ethanol? I’d love to get a discussion going on where you would chose food grade over CDA-12A. For the guys running Cups, are you using food grade, or some type of SDA to avoid the Heptane from eating your seals?
Does anyone have a preference for what their food grade ethanol is made from? Notice any differences between corn or fruit ethanol? I figure it should all be pretty much the same for our needs, but would love to hear more about everyone else’s thoughts.
We do, but it’s only for cleaning, and the only reason is because the denaturing agents are something we want to avoid potentially contaminating our extract with if there is incidental contamination. Generally the denaturing agents are tougher to remove and also have a lower action limit in our state vs straight 190 etoh.

We have been doing a ton of process development on the kratom front. Brought in some pharma process chemist. We are getting ready to release a product line of equipment, seems like most actually processing are pretty secretive lol. understandably so.
Oh boy don’t get me started lol, it took a lot of research and generally just talking to as many people as I possibly could in the industry to find out who is actually extracting, I mean I get why but man was that a process lol. That is sick though I would be happy to introduce you to the clients I work with once you are ready to start releasing a production line
