My customer who is a kratom processor is looking to sell their RO skid. Anyone have any good recs for auctions or something like that? It is a MASSIVE skid and probably around $1 million. They do not need nearly the amount of throughput for solvent recovery, so we are outfitting them with a smaller filtration skid. Thanks in advance!

is it setup for solvent recovery, or was that why they called you in for help?
Might sell here, but they won’t come anywhere close to what they paid…probably less that any more reasonably sized system would cost new…won’t sell it here unless you’re can give more information and pictures.

If I had to guess, $100k MIGHT be achievable. I saw a massive alfa laval skid that was probably $2m+ when purchased sell for well under $100k not too long ago at auction.
Let me guess - massive and expensive, claimed to be for solvent use… It’s an ecose skid?

The reason they want to sell it and scale down is so they do not need to replace the filters in the skid which are mad expensive. You can’t have too much solvent recovery, I agree, it just does not make sense for them to have a skid this big when they aren’t going to need it.

Poor wording is one thing, not answering clarifying questions seems counterproductive (but only if the goal is to try and sell it here…)
Currently they are not using it as they are in their pilot testing program, however they would utilize it for solvent recovery. As for why I am not selling it here, it is in their hands to sell it not mine. I am just trying to find platforms/sources for them to sell it on.
