When Will the Price Per Point Rebound?

With sad feelings I must say that
The European market will not come to a rescue of cannabinoids
For a court case in Germany ruled that
As the European guideline states
That CBD is a novel food product
Rumers are that the governement of the EU will start enforcing as of January 2020 wich would be a disaster
Also think that the big pharma interested in cannabinoids are more of EU origin

It would take Congress, the senate, and the presidents approval to change any wording in the farm bill.

Not something easily done.

Understood but since humans are involved this can go haywire before making sense
I don t know US law well but
In the Netherlands the often first rulings of a judge wheighs heavy in future similar cases some times in favor sometimes against

This would be decided by the supreme court, the lower courts would handle it but I guarantee it would be appealed till SCOTUS gets it.

Delta 8 has been studied for years

In Israel mechoulam and his students got d8 and d10 removed from their CSA by proving they weren’t psycho active because of how they work internally.

I know someone on this forum talking directly with mechoulam on how to prove this just in case.

That s the right attitude
Start making your defense before it is even asked

I already have a lawyer who wants to take this if the feds coming knocking

I’m not too concerned about it

From day 1 I thought this would be challenged

I want the nation to know wtf d8 is

It would be on the news

Great publicity for d8

No surprise a lawyer is down to take the case up with the courts, but is he down to do so for free or at a heavily reduced rate?
Thats been my fear, my lawyer saying “yeah, go for it… I gotchya back” and I’m like “how much would taking a case like that cost?” LOL! Could be a windfall for the lawyer either way the case goes, while I have the chance of being in hella debt with jail time (potentially)

Exactly, unless doing it pro bono, I’d be very weary of anything a lawyer says as they make money either way. They aren’t facing the real risks

My farmers have bought CBG seed for next year, may keep us going…

I have my doubts, that seems like it is either exploiting a serious difference in conversion rate (google shows the Uruguayan Peso to be worth significantly less than a Mexican Peso), $200/kg isolate doesn’t leave any margin for either the farmer or whoever is doing extraction, distillation and isolation. $200/kg for isolate wouldn’t cover my fixed costs on extraction even with some fairly high % input material.

Drop labour costs by 70% and your numbers might add up  coupled with likely lower facility costs, and year round grown season

I mean, certainly labor costs eat margins fast but it’s not like suitably large equipment to do extraction, solvent recovery, distillation and isolation/crystallization at a descent scale come real cheap regardless of what country you’re buying them in.

If there’s no rules against running open vats of stuff, and less than top notch C1D1, you might find those costs can get down 60-90% as well.

I could probably process 1000lb/h with some raw steel and some moderately skilled cheap welders making stuff for me on a budget of 150k. Especially if I had water powered cooling from a lake/reservoir.

I’m only basing things off of an internet article for their price. Obviously could be off base, but it really doesn’t seem unreasonable.

Cannabis can’t be that low in oil yield. And rapeseed/vegetable oil/palm/etc. Doesn’t cost more than $1-5/L at grocery store prices.

No reason the same couldn’t happen with cannabis.

Yep sad but treu
After calculating about everything
For a grow and extraction facility in Macedonia the return on investment spread over 5 years
We calculated less than 200 euro per kg
Of isolate it can defenatly be done
If it s all in house and labor and electricity are cheap

Pretty soon the oils going to be the cheapest part of the vape pen  fields of CBD converted to d9 + terps. Gonna have 4$ gram cartridges on the shelves (probably $10 after taxes, but w/e).

Your distribution network and your knowledge/edge is the only thing that has any long term value (in my humble opinion).

Sounds like a good thing to me.

One of the cornerstones of my Open Source cannabis movement is to make
“More, higher quality hash (extracts) available to more people for cheaper”

What are you talking about? I have vaped d8 lots of times and it absolutely is psychoactive.

Was it pure d8 from hemp?

I bet you it had d9 in it.

They give d8 to kids with cancer in Israel because it doesnt give them the psycho active effects like d9

I can confirm this

When I make d8 from d9 my sesh clients love it

If its from hemp and has little to no d9 then they complain it doesnt get them high

To me d8 is a body high

Isolates already worth less than $500 a kg people are just hodling as hard as they can

Truth is this: farmers and labs are now filing bankruptcy cases left and right and the lenders are firesaling both biomass and bulk materials in massive lots to be sold to the highest bidders or the bidder who can clear the most material out at a time: this means that the big boys are now consolidating and their cost per kg is so ridiculously low, they can just let the product bottom out and keep collecting for when the little guys finally shit out and throw in the towel.

@MagisterChemist even the d10 you tried had d9 in it

D10 isnt psychoactive yet you said it was

D9 hit ppl differently just like d8 does
