I’ve had my post run material tested. They gave me super early harvested IPM biomass and were upset at the 5% yield. <1% THC left in the buds. End product tested at 5% CBGa where it usually is undetectable with the same strain. Turned into an interesting experiment on how & when CBGa is converted to THCa in the plant.
Guy 10, a billionaire: Grows hemp on enormous swaths of land. Has mega facilities that convert CBD and CBG into d8. Pays employees minimum wage. Works them 7 12s on two shifts. Sells 1g d8 carts for 10$ Takes all of us out in less than a year.

I was just trying to come up with the worst possible dystopian cannabis future. Right now that’s the case, but who knows what 30 years from now holds. I highly doubt that will be the case though.
I would love for somone to try my crc extracts, i do light crc i dont just pack a shit ton of media to get that “clear”. Done troed many medias and “formulas” I’ve dialed in my own. I know my oul is free from powders and does not have that potent “crc” smell, my oils still have that organic smell to the strain specific biomas i process. Ofcourse, you process shit material its still going to be shit even if colors more appealing. I can see why people hate it but i believe if done correctly its also a beneficial process. Pesticide and color remediation. Now do i like it? I dont mind it but I prefer fresh froze oil all day. Only real reason i crc material is becuase clients request to do so. Aside from that i prefer the organic ambers, yellows organge tints that come from non crc runs. Color has nothing to do woth potency or flavor. I’ve processed some dank ass shatter amber in color back in the days. Thankfully now a days crc or not all my ouls have pleasant colors amd smells, but thats due to the source material I’ve been blessed to process. In conclusion, crc is good when done correctly but I’ve noticed alot of crc manufacturing is done by people who dont know wtf they are doing just adding powders cluelessly expecting greatness. I blame all those picky ass stupid uneducated smokers who have flooded the market since it legalized. Thats really the only reason we do it…cosmetic appeal. But yeah gang thats just my input.

When Material is over remediated it can leave the extract with a play dough taste.
But when down correctly on good material it can really bring forward the more minor terps.
That being said not everyone is correctly pairing the right CRC mix the the correct material. It’s not a one mix fits all type of thing.
Humans tend to remember the bad more than the good so when tons of slabs hit the market and taste like play dough or their filters don’t catch all the powders then these slabs leave a bad taste. Literally wrecking it for the others who do it with precision.
Also people tend to reject new tech and reject the things they don’t understand instead of educating themselves they just say thats bullshit or I don’t dab polished turds regardless of the source. Another thing that can happen is CRC not only removes color it also removes terpenes which can lead to in cbd extraction a less bitter taste but in ThC extraction it can remove terps that really make the extract louder. CRC can also dry out the extract ( silica gel )which can make it like a no bake cookie dough ball. It’s tru you can take 3 years ago trim and floor sweepings and turn it into a gold color. If it smelled like ass going in, it will look like a bleached ass coining out with the same barn floor kept taste. Basically a few bad eggs and in inexperienced operators can really fuck shit up for the rest. I am now doing both remediated extracts and non remediated extracts same material. This way it meets the demand for both.

This, also relating to greed. The people pushing CRC are usually the people making it because they are greedy. Usually also growing outdoor because its easy and again they are greedy. Grow my medicine in more sterile conditions please.

Where to start?
- People get CRC that doesn’t dissolve in alcohol
- Most CRC tastes like shitty lemons or like a cleaning agent
- CRC is often dripping wet
- CRC is one of the hardest strains to transfer without even being as delicious as C02 or solventless oils.
- You can just get the later of #4 in cartridges making them easily transportable
- CRC burns the backs of peoples throats
I think the real question is why are you all pushing CRC so hard? It sucks.

crc in itself isnt bad but I see no reason to use it on quality fresh material. So crc is bad because its only used on non fresh material IMO
