What would you do differently if you had a second chance to choose your cannabis distribution company?

I run a small family-owned and -operated vape cart company in Oregon. We started the company more than three years ago, received our OLCC license more than a year ago, and we launched our brand in December 2020. To date, we have bootstrapped the entire operation. Despite limited resources our brand has been fairly successful (e.g., our products are now in ~50 dispensaries). At this point our greatest need is to get into more dispensaries across the state, so I am now seriously investigating cannabis distribution companies to help us meet this need.

What would you do differently if you had a second chance to choose your cannabis distribution company?

What advice can you offer about how to choose the best cannabis distribution company for our products?

What “red flags” and/or contractual obligations should I watch out for?
