What kind of Clarity can I expect from a well pressed Hash Rosin?

I am a little bit bored of Shatter now. I’ve done more than a few runs and came out with some decent product but it’s a little boring.

I wanted to try my hand at Dry Sifting and then pressing in a micron bag for some decent Hash Rosin. But all the pics online are a bit deceiving and not entirely sure if the product in there is what I’m looking for, so reaching out to extractors.

The end goal would be Dabbing mainly, but also the Hash Rosin cart is interesting. What kind of clarity can one achieve through the Dry Sift and Micron bag press?

Ok that’s fair but I felt like trying out the above method. I don’t want to try BHO again until I’m able to run it through dewax column. Fattyy BHO sucks.

Rosin has tons of fats itself…

If you’re looking to avoid fats in your extracts, rosin isn’t the answer.

I know full well I can’t avoid fats in Rosin. However Hash Rosin should contain way less than Flower Rosin, which I hate. But again, I completely understand that it will never be void of fats and lipids, unlike my winterized shatters.

What I would like is some visual examples that are confirmed as Hash Rosin just so I can see what I’m aiming for. The pics online I really just don’t trust so reaching out.

a simple prefreeze of ur material on dry ice and chilling ur canned tane down below -20f would so the trick. the. jar the oil after the tane evaporates ans voila. u have a totally new extract to play w very clean.
use whip it premium 420ml cans bc they high in propane to get push when u chill cans below zero

no dewax column needed really to avoid “most” of not all the fats

There’s literally TONS of Rosin groups on FB… Join a handful of them, and leave the shitty ones…

I didn’t think mere frozen material would make that big of a difference. I would imagine same purging method and time.

I’ll look into the FB groups - I don’t use FB generally. I hate it but anyway. I want to be able to make a variety of products so just trying my hand at things - there’s no real need for them.

I smoked it all lol. The only pics I might have are of it in carts. Even then I cbf finding them lol :stuck_out_tongue:

id use dry ice as itll freeze it fast and wont let water or moisture get on it

That was my main qualm with the domestic freezer. I don’t like moisture in the extract it gives it a reddish color.

if ur harvesting ur own plants take when there more cloudy than ambber for best color and more thca ive heard

i just throw light crc @waxplug1 w1 or w2 …or if im cheap b80 or killa w the t5 and silica

For my personal I use frozen material in a pollenextractor.com tumbler placed above a 3 screen dry sift kit. Carded through the layers and Collected into 37u bags. Pressed at 150-160(max)

This won’t be a very clear product but should be easy for making thca presses. Bubble hash from fresh frozen material using a freeze dryer and pressing low temp will give you the clear more flavorful product than can look like quality bho.

Freshly frozen material makes all the difference.
