Does anyone know anything about Scientific Solutions located in San Diego? Are they legit? What are your experiences with them?

They’re just resellers. Might be able to get you a better price on a large purchases vs going directly to the manufacturers that usually retail for the same.
But if only buying from one manufacturer you might want to call them directly and compare prices.
Edit: they’re more than resellers from I understand but that is there main bread and butter from what I understand, that was just my experience with them. As they stated below they are not limited to just this.

They’re good people.
Need something from a company but don’t like that company? That’s where they really shine.
You can get Ai, XD, Summit and many other household brands from them.
They carry shit loads of products at msrp or under or have dropshipping agreements.
Harvest right freeze dryers for example. Tend to always have in stock.
They’re great at getting the word out on new products or services and have a great sales team.

I’ve worked with them on several projects and from my experience they have been easy to work with, very knowledgeable, and a great people!

For sure, they have also expanded to facility layout and compliance, training, and installations.

No doubt wasn’t trying to say anything bad, just that if I was planning say buying a bunch from one manufacturer I may just go directly to them. They offer some good services but don’t always have the best prices on everything.

McClain from Scientific Solutions is very helpful and knowledgable about the industry. If they do not have the resources to help you out they certainly can point you in the right direction.

Thank you everyone for your input. Much appreciated. I feel that it is important to share experiences within our community. I am happy that some have had good experiences with this company. I will be professional by not calling out names, going into specific details, etc. But my experience with this company was extremely poor, amateur at best. Thanks to those that reached out personally. This is a small community that deserves honesty, professionalism, etc.

Gotta say buyers beware
After 4 months of trying to get the 2 cascade CV05 ovens I bought from scientific solutions, I give up trying to get the missing parts
They don’t reply to msgs or emails after they are paid, after several attempts to get all the parts for the ovens I’m still missing the shelf’s and I just can’t recommend them as a good place to buy equipment
They didn’t rip me off but they didn’t complete my order either, won’t buy again

Scientific Solutions is garbage. They will rip you off and take your money!
Yeah it is funny that I dealt with this about 2 years on a “down payment” scam, but @Chriatian still pops in every now and then. Then when I drug @scisolinczack through the mud he made it clear that they were unaffiliated but then proceeded to do the same thing… I guess a ton of people need to get scammed before we list them as a known scammer… or maybe they just need to scam a church

wait what did I do? I haven’t worked for scientific solutions in about 4 years. And don’t want anything to do with John and his BS. Id be happy to chat with you if you wanna dm me your number to discuss any issues there might be. But I never scammed anyone.
Could you shed light on how @Chriatian fit in to Scientific Solutions? I believe I heard that he scammed some other people. Is he and John the same person?
they are separate people. Christian wanted to be an outside consultant. He took money from someone and didn’t give a dime to sci sol and then didn’t deliver that’s all I remember it was a very long time ago.
