Anything that tastes amazing and could 100% be better as dabs should still be on the market as flower and that’s when the market ends up losing extremely good strains and ends up with the mershy stuff like the cakes, tropicanas, zkittles.
So when the market right now is leaving things as flower like Pura Vida, Cap Junky and Space Center they’re giving what potheads and patients alike originally asked for which is: great tasting, potent, mutant looking shit that breaks up to your money’s worth and something that you need very little to feel a whole fuckin’ lot. You shouldn’t need dabs to get you there and the monster strains that people should be growing can get people there without the need for dabbing.
I love dabbing still but it’s definitely not something I do as much as I did when I first joined this forum.

Alien Mints pisses kief and clogs my herb ripper grinder. I make a nice sized puck of kief every two ounces.
Edit: I’ve made a game out of how much kief it gives by filling a tiny jar half way then banging it into a small puck with a dulytek hammer press, then I fill the jar over the puck and repeat.

What ever happened to the strains people used to call “piff.”
Pura Vida is the only thing modern that comes close to tasting like old school “piff.”
The strains that were considered piff back in 2006 should make a come back.

Iirc that’s the Cuban black haze @Killa12345 talked about and I know that Masonic does a x to Wilson of it that should be something to talk about.
Some of the more jack/hazey strains I’ve seen as of lately would be banana mango, j1, and lilac diesel.

Why the wedding cake in the Afghan x blue berry?

Because whatever result you’d get from Afghan Kush and Blueberry Haze, is going to most likely have that harshness that can be mellowed with wedding cake. So in theory it’ll be a subdued blueberry flavor that has a sweet lip licking sensation with that umph that makes it a little more harsher but also more resinous.
So the blueberry is the flavor, the Afghan is the resinous umph while the wedding cake is there to bring that all together with being a little subdued but sweet as well as maybe the potency booster.
I think blueberry haze and Afghan Kush don’t really have much potency but weeding cake gets up there.

My homies just hunted a bbyy for their grow that dumps and smokes just like that old school bbyy. So fucking flavorful and the high is 
Wish I could get my hands on that cut.
They also have a Mac n jack that I would kill for. Has such a crazy jack haze to it. That one would be my choice tbh for a haze/ jack to run. It puts out good weight, and good hash, but the hash is also greasy as fuck, so would be perfect for melts & piatella.

If I were to make a strain from “Super Skunk #4,” and “Cap Junky,” I’d call that “Smelly Hat” and cross “Smelly Hat,” with “Cheese” it would be called “Cheese Lid.”

You can view the same traits in the Macv2. Much easier to get seeds of it.

Mac1 is widely available worldwide probably by now. I got a few of the original Mac seed packs available but I didn’t find anything like the mac1 cut in any of the several packs I grew out. The v2 were closer for sure but I would just get the mac1 pheno. I know it’s made it’s way to Spain so I imagine it’s all over Europe by now. Veg is slow as fuck but the profile is amazing and she throws down hard in flower

Meant as in much easier to get seeds of the Macv2, which might have some seeds pop up as triploid traits. I’ve only heard of some trying to seed out triploids but as I remember from our conversation you mentioned that the trait tends to leave the plant sterile so it cant reproduce(seed) only used for the top cola variances it has.
The whorled phyllotaxy is a strange one but I’d never turn away from something strange
If it is easy to get seeds, it’s almost certainly not triploid.
One doesn’t get “triploid traits” without being triploid.
There may well be “Mac” traits that are separable from “triploid”, but it you’ve been paying attention, you would know that @Roguelab is interested in Mac 1 because it’s (rumored to be)triploid.
