I have been trying to find purepressure press bags for some time now and the website seems to be pulled down. I also noticed the Ig hasn’t made a post in over a year. Anybody have any idea of what’s going on or if there was a recent name change or merger?

Agrify used them to shift out of their failing grow cabinet business and now that the sacrificial lambs throat has been slit they have thrown several cannabis extraction companies in the trash can and has now used a hemp beverage company to shift out of their failing cannabis extraction equipment business

AS A SHAREHOLDER…I fucking hate that company. What kind of piece of shit company sells you a fucking 20 dollar chopstick to turn your bags inside out when EVERY OTHER FUCKING COMPANY JUST SELLS YOU THE BAG TURNED RIGHT SIDE OUT IN THE FIRST PLACE…AND CHEAPER!
To be totally honest this is likely the accumulation of a few things if I were to give my two cents.

Cheaper, more efficient presses that don’t have lofty claims of making rosin a universal thing. Wooks can fuck up a cup of instant coffee and they don’t seem to understand the density of bags changes every single time you pack them unless you’re a fucking robot built by Skynet™

UNRELIABLE PRESSES. These things break so easily. It’s absolutely fucking nuts how baby soft these things are with so much metal shielding around the guts, good luck fixing it if you get your hands on replacement parts.

And I mean to me…why the fuck would I want a press that has 10000 bells and whistles when all I want is something that opens and closes on the fuckin bag while maintaining consistent heat. Those presses turn ONE job into 58. Ideally there’s two parts to a press. The press itself and the actuation cylinder/pump. Why you need a digital pressure gauge to interface with the press, a keypad (which in itself has died on me, totally locking out the entire right side of the keypad), pressure regulation cylinders, a fucking 1000+ dollar air compressor that’s loud as fuck, etc when the whole kit and kaboodle is available from a few different manufacturers with far less moving parts that have no real world functionality.

in all of these transactions with Agrify and GTI I see no mention of PurePressure. assuming they are out of businesses yet we stopped doing any business with them over a year ago. was a disaster as they had no money and didn’t even know what they did or didn’t have in stock.

These purepacks look very useful I didn’t know about these I never used a fancy press with pre programming but these would still be clutch for the manual pressing I do. I currently use the 2x5 bubblemagic 25u bags - have to double bag every pack and I have to fold over the seal multiple times and it still often unravels in the parchment. These purepacks have two layers? (Which solves my need to double bag) - and the top folds over is there something that keeps the fold secured or is it mostly that just having the fold sewn in keeps your fold from unraveling?
What count is your sample packs? I don’t use pure pressure machinery, but I do a shit load of pressing every week and I’m not sure if the 2x4.5 or 2x6 might be better for my use case because I’ve always had to shorten my bags while folding over a lot of the length to keep the bags closed. I’m not sure what size but I think these would be a great solution and save me a lot of time on fixing folds that unravel and money on double bagging.

You double bag just in case the contents of the first bag force the opening outward and you don’t have your entire contents of your squish just blasting out onto the parchment. It’s a failsafe. It stops your months and months and months of growing to be condensed into one shitty press that gets thrown out. Use a second bag. 50 cents worth of nylon mesh will stop all that work from getting pissed away.

Quit folding over the seal. If you’re double bagging it’s more useful to fold the second bag into itself creating a “third seal” over the edge of your first bag as you should be loading first bag folded over itself flat then insert into second bag with seam outward. This will create a very even edge and you can then pre fold your parchment to size and slide the puck into place on the parchment pouch after further prep for grease down.

That’s what was happening occasionally before I started double bagging the 2x5’s. I only get one good grow season in a year and can’t afford to waste hash that we don’t yield again for another year.

You got me that job working the bruteless down south gave me some great wash experience at a high level a few years ago and I appreciated that a lot that was my first time learning the process and it couldn’t have been in a better environment to learn how people do wash and collection work. Took that experience and built my own DIY ‘bruteless’ setup and it’s changed the game for me. No more paying trimmers just in house washing and pressing everything.

Always a pleasure to help and teach, wish I was there myself when you were down but always appreciate homies putting in the work while I’m away. I’m glad the others I had there were able to show and relay the info well enough to spark a passion for the work itself! Not many follow up on making their own after paddling for hours on end!

Not sure tbh. I knew someone who worked for them YEEEEEEEEEEEEARS ago - I’ve always thought that the ‘high end’ hash bag market was a sinking ship since alibaba/aliexpress made it so easy to be connected with the manufacturer directly now

Same here. I placed a custom bag order with Boldt bags about 6 months ago, and they sent me an invoice. I have tried to reach out to pay the invoice on several occasions, but get zero response.
We use Press Club bags.
Nowadays, you can find those same alibaba manufacturers on LinkedIn, instagram, and even here on future.

Thought forsure an internet archiver would have a copy laying around with them going out of business, but my search efforts have yet to yield anything.
