The AgTonik owner is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people I have met in my life. I begged him for a job for 3 years and they finally built the Ag division around me. Our CSO writes white papers about humates and puts up with my incessant questions daily. Is it a pay decrease per hour from trapping? Yeah, but I love every minute of every day and every business partner I talk to, especially from Future 4200.
Trapping? The money was good for more than 20 years. It’s only when the government got involved that caused volatility and bubbles in the market.
Consulting- I like helping people grow good weed. I’m not afraid to admit when I’m wrong. The negative parts? Getting blamed for something (OR FIRED!) when people don’t follow recommendations or don’t listen.

AgTonik? I know I might pop off and talk about taboo topics or say unsavory things on Future every once in a while, but they know my history and check in to see what I post every once in a while. Everyone is on the same page ultimately promoting good weed.
Some weeks, I work 35 hours, some weeks ~50+ with site visits. If I want to schedule video calls with growers all day instead of grinding on a new market segment, that’s cool with them too. The time flies when you just talk about what you love.

For me I love the good people and grub. Our op is one of the most talented Italian cooks in the area and she throws down on some baked ziti Jersey shore style. Swear I don’t even have to grocery shop some weeks 
I hate babysitting my coworker rob who is a good dude but who’s brain stopped developing age 8 when he started emptying bong clips 6 times a day. Luckily we’re bffs outside of work but at work I’m always cleaning up after him which is a headache. Some people never grow up lol

Cleaning to me at the lab is something that allows me to go full zen and be conscientious. Nothing like dishes at home and changed my entire perspective on home duties for the better.

Love the flexibility my current job offers.
Hate that I dated a coworker for a while and we still work together, it gets awkward sometimes when she’s on one. Otherwise we’re still good.
