I know the projected acres were about the same as 2019 but those acres I believe included seed and fiber acres. Was curious what is going on across the country as far as CBD dedicated acreage.
I know here in MI the numbers are way below what is being reported.
This is what I’m using to make my plans. I’ve found the Factbook to be on point in general and the harvest reports are pretty straightforward as well. With checks against state agencies for acres planted, as well as, surveys sent out to farmers to see how things turned out.
They’ll have another book out with the surveys completed pretty soon. I expect a lot of the hemp this year is not for CBD production, because so much is needed in the other industries (food, fuel, building materials, etc.).
The next report should be coming out middle to end of November if my memory serves me…
