Has anyone selfed one of these elite cuts and made seeds? The only cut I have is milk and cookies. I tried to self it and it made no seeds. That makes me think part of the price is that the strain does not easily produce seeds.

If that’s the case I would be buying clones for my 3x3x6 for my personal use that I make zero money off of
This is why I have hundreds of seeds set aside
It’s meant to clone is my guess and prevent seeds for bag appeal as custys see seed’s as “bad”
Or to prevent a rando from getting a seed and growing it themselves so they can make money off that person instead
A lot of truly special plants are pretty much sterile or produce garbage offspring. Not all of them but a lot of my really favorites. Mac1 for example

How big are your clones? Are you really spending half a million on clones or are they the size of a mother? Seedling is like. 15 day stage… Rooting takes 15 days alone…
I rooted in my garage in under 10 days, granted only 1 made it and it was sloppily done lol. I don’t clone for this reason. But it depends on environment and pheno.

How does an elite clone make sense for a tent grower and not a commercial farmer.
This seems like backwards logic. I’m gonna go have fun with the family.

That is fascinating. A friend in Michigan got my milk and cookies from other friends in Colorado. It has tested between 31 and 34% across multiple grow ops. When I selfed it the pollen was white and not yellow.
And that may answer part of the original question on this thread. No one would keep paying a high price for a cut if someone could self it and make a ton of seeds to sell for a comparatively cheap price.

Speed advantage. Clones are only great for propagating a garden. If your propagating a garden with $10k cuts your bleeding money, or time on mothering your genetics and then cloning them.
The idea that you can’t get straight amazing and tight genetics off seeds for 100th the price, and 10x the speed, is hilarious.
Not only that, pheno hunting seed stock give your truly unique gear to work with going forward that is strictly yours…
At this point I’m saying the same shit a different way.

It was studied that the selfed pollen is different than the regular male pollen, maybe you can exteapolate that info.

saw somewhere online selling expensive cuts. It was like 1500 bux up to a bunch more. Each on had a rating scale on different attributes and the ones rated highest were the most expensive. Alot of truffle crosses.
