I’ll give you 15k just to increase the hype.
This all comes down to scale. Tent growers/ hobby growers normally don’t buy breeder cuts. They’re in it for the fun/ passion of growing being around the plant. For everyone else it’s a business. Cultivators, Cash croppers or trappers don’t have time to waste on pheno hunts.
I’d gladly pay $10k for cuts to fill a 20 -100 lighter. Easy sale due to name recognition and hype vs tryna sell unknown stuff.
Since when is a reliably bred seed unknown stuff? The fuck. Only fucking wooks and 1% care about a clone only or a fucking breeders cut of a strain.
No slanging on my tread!!!
Sadly noone seems to know what that means…
aegronomics with ayetalics…
Parameters,
Your 10k cut is what… . What makes it so special?
seems its a hard question as noone seems provide an answer
Im really sorry guys…
I asked a question, and noone in the allmighty future seems to know what I am asking.
Im not saying its imposible, Im not saying it shouldnt be asked…
IM ASKING WHAT IS THE TAC%,THE TERP%,THE FLOWER SPEED(WEEKS), THE MORPHOLOGY OF A PLANT, 10K WORTH…
actually pretty simple but gotz to pay 10k upfront and see whats up with that…sry very misleading and non convincing…
Someone convince me, what you have done or what effort you went throught and produced a AAA+++ cut that will make me millions… .
I love how these guys talk about tents and green house growers and this and that… but going into production with 100k in 10k clones is going to take a long time… Much longer than seed. Even a million bucks… would be a pretty slow start for 100 lights
Gucci paied 10 bucks for it and needs to resell for branding ofc…
Your not suggesting gucci is a synonym for quality?
Lol who tf is doing 100 lighters of seeds for production?
You win the award for being on the complete opposite thought process as me in pretty much any thread we have ever interacted in.
We on different planets I think ![]()
I have to admit, most of the people I am disagreeing with are my favorite on the forum. I still love you all.
I think a big company would be obligated to go ground up due to the variables indoor, and different geolocations provided in the world.
Each site, same seed, test out, every time…
Genetics not just a clone
It’s all about the strain name
Noone really does sell pathogen resistance, just weak overboosted genetics that would die in a heartbeat outdoors…
This is the real test of sustainable genetics… .
Get breeding for resistance, less water consumption, lower light regimes…
Thats were the money starts pouring in…
Thank you for that educated clarification, definetly what I was looking for when I wrote the thread…
I see both sides to the argument and support both.
It really depends what you want to do, pheno hunt or buying a clone.
What I’ve gathered is buying expensive genetics for a high price is more business oriented so they can pull more harvests while still maintaining quality, as you can still grow quantity and produce quality if you know what you’re doing. If you have genetics worth $4k a P when finished and you grow 100+ pounds you’re sitting on a gold mine.
Versus pheno hunting which is obviously cheaper for the Average Joe and involves more passion I would even argue. They’re just trying to grow the best at home for themselves with no care about making millions. Most people don’t see a point in spending money on a clone for at home use, I am one, but if it’s business oriented thats an investment.
So it really depends on what you want to do.
Anyway folks in search of more than 2 sensible answers…
Still just two people made some sense…
Are there no breeders here that read a book and ran their samples thorugh a pcr and a gcms.
Well thank you kindly, have a good Saturday and I will retire to my hole now…
I’m just saying the whole speed advantage to an elite clone is really only valid for a tent grower. Every greenhouse I have worked for was growing off cloned R&D seed stock, or inhouse genetics that were already established. I mean maine is pretty small though.
How so?
