I get a decent yield but on scale its diffrent and more about supporting it than getting max per square foot. they also seem to keep the lights high and use overlap while i keep lights closer and move them up if the strain cant handle it. the caging and a bi weekly defoliation and bondage session means the harvest is almost all tops that yield great an saves tons of time in harvest. buds from floor up is great, Frost to the floor is good too. but im old school and to stand out its all in the smoke. I cant say im impresed with anything ive grown in a year but it gets me high I liked c99 alot and i liked the early cookies released I like seed weed but its breeder dependent

I have a habit of doing little to no defoliation. This round I did 3 tables all varying levels of defoliation. On the table I defoliated completely I got 3 lbs of top shelf fat nuggets and some trim… They were large buds.
However on the tables that I did a medium and small amount of defoliation, I got 3 lbs of tops, and 3- 5 lbs of chuff. One table(jelly rancher) gave me 9 lbs of total biomass off 2 800w lights and 4 plants… Almost 2g/watt.

If someone found a plant from seed that regularly produced 40% tac, I bet they could sell that cut for a nice hunk of cash …
Autoflowers are a perfect example of what to expect with seed plants because they can’t be cloned. They may also be the reason for a lot of the boof out there.
The problem isn’t auto flowers, the problem is greedy growers trying to push their 2 harvests as flower apposed to cherry picking tops and running the rest as oil. Can’t be happy enough with the extra harvest.

Well can you post that one? Id love to see it and I’m sure the whole thread would as it is relevant to the discussion on what makes a 5k cut worth 5k. I posted results on that high testing cut / 8% hash rosin dumper.

I have more than one legitimate reason for not wanting to publicly share the COA’s. I could crop them to shit, and share some nonsense unvalidatable coa that’s basically worthless, which from your comment I assume you’ll say was photoshopped, or because we basically live in the same town we could meet in person and have a legitimate conversation, and maybe I could sell you some cuts.

Idk whats worse flexing about 40% weed when we all know how innacurate tests are(and how lil that matters to actual quality of smoke) or buying a GGG clone for 10k from a chad company(that you admit is boof i may add) when they are partnered and sell there cuts at archives dispensary in portland for less than $100 for their selected cuts.

But I didn’t buy the 10k cut I just saw bud from someone who traded for the cut. Also I think its like a 100$ cut now which shows how much new and hype really effects the expensive cutting market

That I’m aware of , you can technically clone an autoflower and maybe the clone will veg a bit instead of flowering simultaneously with the mother plant but you can’t keep it in veg so pheno hunting isn’t very practical for someone like me.

To expand on that , think about making selections as an auto breeder. How do they do it?? I’ve grown mephisto autos that were danker than a lot of the photo seeds I’ve started but they aren’t uniform even at the f5+ generations.
