I hear it’s gotta be fresh though

You are correct with your solvent choice. Alcohol has great solubility for capsicanoids, but spraying ethanol on plants isn’t the best idea. Dry powder works for raccoons because they are like toddlers putting their hands in their mouth all the time. Pretty sure it wouldn’t work so well for the bunnies.

You could use water to make something of a paste and spread it on the stalks. One taste and they won’t want your canna is plants anymore, methinks.

I’m low on ethanol. But I figured a spiced thc spray on the wiring and ground around it may suffice in methanol or iso.

This.

Make em dog food.

Give them what they want. Water, carrots, lettuce, cable tv, furry porn.

Give them an easy alternative to fucking your stuff up.

A skunk will kill a chicken, tear it apart like a psychotic viking Lord, eat it’s liver and scatter the rest while spraying your dog in the face.

Good thing I never leave home without my furry porn collection.

It’s not a crime to watch rabbits have sex right? Asking for a friend.

Are bunnies afraid of coyotes? You could try coyote ruin pellets to scare them away. But some traps and a .22 should do the trick.

Feeding them bubblegum is the least humane way to do it

Id shoot em

I never realized a skunk was so vicious :joy:

Skunks eat honey bees, too. They knock on the hive and catch them in the air as they fly out.

Are you sure its not voles? I’ve had voles do this. Lost half an outdoor crop.

Our solution.

Could very well be. They’ve been pulling at some higher branches, but too low to be deer; so my thought was rabbits. The wire and water seemed to help, but maybe I’ll throw some foil in the mix too

True dat! I trapped and shot two that were visiting our hen house and taking a chicken or two per night and just eating into their breast and guts. One was in a 1 1/2 steel leg trap, and the other was in both a leg trap and a box trap, with the door of the box trap destroyed.

Both sprayed when I shot them in the head with a .22 LR, but fortunately I was facing the head end.

Not to forget that skunks are in the same family as bears, badgers, and wolverines, in addition to having a chemical warfare butt.

Rejoice and make lemonade like our Native American ancestors who preceded us and relied heavily on fish and small game.

Having grown up poor and hunting and eating small game, I suggest you have the opportunity to experience the delights of good Jambalaya, in which squirrels, rabbits, snakes, frogs, and gators, et al, provide the protein and the chef provides the experience.

Consider a crossbow or .22 pellet riffle and red night light illuminating your garden. Rats and rabbits have more rods than cones in their eyes to better adapt them to low light, so they are less able to see the longer wave length colors like red than us’ns, so it will seem much dimmer to them, than to you.

A shrill whistle will also often freeze a rabbit in its tracks for long enough for a still head shot.

It will do the same thing to a deer, and a crossbow bolt to the heart will do the trick, but do educate your self, regarding your local ordinances covering legal hours to hunt deer, acceptable weapons and calibers, and use of fixed red lights, vis a vis spotlighting with bright lights.

To set the squirrel population up for the stew pot, install a squirrel magnet, aka bird feeder with peanuts and sunflower seeds within easy range of a blind.

If you have so many varmints that you can’t keep up, considering setting up a blind, advertising and charging avid varmint hunters a fee…
