W-1 Failure

Looks decent. I’ve found silica to do 80% of the work and celite just to catch it. I’m not even sure if I’ll use carbon or t5 anymore

my w1 run is kinda champagne, but it wouldnve been very dark otherwise. Sounds like op has same issue= he ran half as much w1 and was dark.

Same here. When I pull my classic CRC column down, the Magsil and silica are a dark mustard yellow/light brown, clearly showing they’ve stripped color from the oil. The T5 also has a slight pigment change as well, appearing slightly red.

I only ran half as much under the guidance of the Chemtek staff. The champagne color isn’t terrible but it doesn’t look natural and that’s a big no no for me.

my peeps couldnt care less if i left it dark. Ive never tried clear crc but I dont mind lightening color on old shit.

How do you get that wet badder consistency?
