Wonder why @VapeJet ain’t got shit to say, they sure had a lot to say when they thought they was in the right smh
If I were in their position I probably would have refused delivery of the 4 units if I didn’t know where they were coming from. This is a complete no win situation at this point.
25k to refurbish a 30k unit ![]()

I hope ya go out of business my boy for your shady business model
120k is alot of cake, why haven’t you reached out for legal assistance? It seems like that would’ve been the first move instead of coming to a forum to complain…
Do you have any photos of the condition they were in when you sent them back?
It wouldn’t be hard to fuck them up beyond what could comfortably be repaired if you didn’t secure the gantry or clean the syringe pumps and valves first
Like I said this is a super no win situation for everyone involved
Dear @VapeJet new private equity owners, this is a fiasco you inherited. I will be reviving this every year until you make your customer right. It has been 2 years since you guys straight up stole more than 100 thousand dollars.

They likely don’t care. It will be the next agrify portfolio addition of 2025. ![]()

Here’s to hoping the shareholders can’t afford it
@VapeJet has some stuff that exceeds the taste of most businesses. If you’re in a heavily regulated part of the country they are in the same space as @DeutscheProcess IMO
Fantastic American engineering isn’t cheap
Sometimes it’s not the most efficient either
Waiting for LowTemps entry for cart filling lol
I can’t think of any industrial companies that would have fumbled like in this thread. Because of this mega level fumble, I stopped recommending them and started making my own automated machines.
Good luck, The new owners literally couldn’t care less. They are very aware of the situation and OP tried to connect with them at BizCon. By his own admission after the fact, the new CEO ducked and dodged it.
They care just enough to chuckle about it then duck out, deuces.
Facts. They’ve been making a lot of changes since they bought it in August and pissing a lot of people off too. Shitting on employees and their suppliers, they’re done. The best employees have already left or are on their way out.
Beware: If you see a job posting, this is not a company you want to work for or with. Under the new management, you are seen as disposable. The new CEO is a 25 year old playing with daddies money, he doesn’t use cannabis, he doesn’t care about cannabis or the culture. Avoid at all costs.
What kind of changes have they made so far?
They removed doom. Lol
Recent “Changes” (or how Tim turned everything to ash):
- Dab-Jet Dumpster Fire: This machine is an insult to anyone unlucky enough to buy it. It’s plagued by failures—an overly sensitive pump, constant priming issues, and a catastrophic breakdown rate that leaves customers waiting weeks for replacement parts. Even the support staff can’t figure it out because Tim can’t be bothered to provide proper training. Oh, and let’s not forget they FIRED the designer before the machine was even finished. What’s the plan to make it work? There isn’t one. This company is selling an expensive paperweight, and Tim’s letting it happen. If you want a dispenser, go buy a DDS machine and save yourself the nightmare.
- Staff Exodus (and Why Everyone Hates Working Here): Half the team has been pushed out or walked away—builders, managers, office staff, even upper leadership. Why? Because no one with self-respect wants to work under Tim’s incompetent, self-serving “leadership.” The skeleton crew left behind is stretched so thin they might as well be ghosts, and morale is in free fall. Everyone is looking for the exit, but hey, at least Tim has plenty of money to hire his old buddies from his hometown to play manager while the manufacturing crew drowns. Great job, Tim—your priorities are as broken as your machines.
- Labor Law Violations (and General Employee Abuse): This guy can’t even manage to pay his employees properly. There’s already a BOLI claim for unpaid wages, and surprise, surprise—Tim hasn’t bothered to respond. Tim seems to think the rules don’t apply to him, and the workers are the ones paying the price.
- Marketing is Dead: The marketing department has been a joke since the manager left. They barely scraped through the guitar giveaway last year, and since then, it’s been nothing but crickets. The company outsources marketing to an agency that does literally nothing—can’t even update the website. Speaking of which, their “Our Crew” page still lists half a dozen people who’ve been gone for months. Oh, and the site still says Ryan is the CEO. What’s the matter, Tim? Too ashamed to put your face up there? Or are you just scared people will Google your name and see how badly you’ve tanked this company?
- The Squish-E Trainwreck: The new Squish-E machine is a straight-up embarrassment. Eight out of ten fail during in-house testing—and that’s only after they started testing them. Before that, they just shipped defective machines straight to customers, leaving them to deal with broken equipment and months-long delays for replacements. This isn’t just bad quality control—it’s no quality control.
- Supplier Screwovers: The company treats its suppliers like garbage, constantly breaking agreements and chasing cheaper deals without a thought to quality or reliability. N.B. Oler, if you’re reading this—run while you can.
Let’s Talk Leadership (or Lack Thereof):
Ryan wasn’t perfect, but he actually cared about what he was building and the people who helped him build it. Under Ryan, this company had passion, vision, and a shot at success. Under Tim, it’s a rotting corpse of its former self, run by someone who has no idea what he’s doing and doesn’t care enough to learn. Tim doesn’t just lack the motivation to lead—he lacks the ability. The only thing he’s good at is running this company straight into the ground.
I expected as much. It was weird to see them completely disappear after this thread kicked off, but now it all makes sense. Ryan sold out at the peak and is sipping margaritas in costa rica. Now he’ll never have to refund @Ola
