Vacuum sealing large amounts of trim

How would one go about vacuuming sealing large amounts of trim?
Wish there was a mattress vacuum bag available

@CannabisBlacklist I remember these big storage bags that where for clothes and stuff, storage savers maybe hooked a vacuum up to it and sucked the air out.

Vac pump line into the mostly sealed ziploc , suck air out and seal, gets you by in a pinch

I used those a couple years ago. They got punctured to easy by small stems and sticks

I’ve used standard vacuum seal bags that come in a roll. I’ve made some 6ftx1ft tubes with no issues, maybe you could try more? But it was pretty fast overall, we were attempting to save spent material for when we got an ethanol setup.

Never said we were insiders. Just people actually in the industry.
With that being said how does that relate?
Someone giving inside secrets about packing trim that I missed?
This isn’t news so I’m confused by your response.
It’s not everyday this comes up. We are talking about hundreds of lbs. And I’m sure we’re not the only people that have this issue

How much can one pillow pack hold?

If you pack it in ~ 3lbs

Ive seen a lil over 2 lbs of flower in em

If your using pillow pack bags make sure you wrap a napkin by the inside port and use a rubber band to hold it in place or glue it to the bag. The trim will block the closing gasket if you dont and you won’t hold vacuum over time.
